🎭 We are delighted to have been acknowledged in the Stage 100 2024 list today in the top 20, at number 17.
Jamie Wilson today said: Bringing joy to audiences and creating quality theatre not only in the West End, but across the UK & Ireland and overseas is at the forefront of our minds in everything we produce here at JWP. 2024 is our most exciting year yet. Thank you to The Stage for this acknowledgment.

The Stage:
Wilson’s company punches above its weight when it comes to the volume and reach of its productions, and showed no signs of slowing down in 2023, when projects included Ain’t Too Proud and Mrs Doubtfire in the West End, the latter beginning Wilson’s 10-year tenure programming the Shaftesbury Theatre. Last year also saw Sister Act tour the UK, and in 2024, the musical will return to London, once again featuring powerhouse Beverley Knight, who will be joined by Gavin and Stacey’s Ruth Jones as Mother Superior. This month, Live Aid musical Just for One Day, commissioned and developed by Wilson, will premiere at London’s Old Vic, while JWP will also co-produce the West End premiere of The Devil Wears Prada musical, which has music by Elton John, alongside several UK tours.

JUST ANNOUNCED! 🌍

JWP with special permission from The Band Aid Charitable Trust have commissioned a new musical Just For One Day - based upon the events around Live Aid. Written by John O’Farrell and directed by Luke Sheppard. This new musical will have its premiere at The Old Vic Theatre from 26 Jan 2024.

Political unrest, social revolution, boom and bust. One moment made the world stand still & brought 1.5 billion people together - and they all have a story to tell about ‘the day rock ‘n’ roll changed the world’. 🎸

Jamie Wilson Productions are delighted to be co-producing this new production alongside The Old Vic Theatre Alchemation Sonia Friedman Productions Kenny Wax Family Entertainment
