Another lovely wedding for @bandsforhireagency I had the pleasure to play for for the lovely couple, David & Greta.
The venue was stunning! Tucked away behind a beautiful house with one of the most prettiest gardens, they had some really friendly staff and thankfully, again, so were the crowd.
As usual, I was given an extensive Spotify playlist from the client beforehand, but they knew I would be using that as ideas rather the rule and ultimately let me do my thing.
After that double gig day I certainly slept well and now hope to be pampered by my children.

Taster of the VIBES last night at Jodie & Ruairi’s wedding…

Such a cool venue, right by a canal and tucked away like a secret rave location.
They had a great Irish folk band on before me and then me to round things off.
Ruairi found me on @mixcloud, which I love, as he said he really digs my Kitchen Tapes mixes so, music wise, he gave me total creative freedom.
I kicked off with some @jungle4eva (which I would never usually do at wedding) and the vibes took me along 90’s hip hop, classic 70’s reggae, R&B classics, funk, disco edits, old soul and Ibiza house classics.
They were so up for it that at one point, they started doing the limbo!! 😂

What an absolute pleasure last night playing for the super cool couple, Simon and Rosy, for the wedding party!
Simon found me online, listened to my mixes and we totally saw eye to eye on our taste in music. He had a wonderful playlist on before my set: Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Lee Fields, Charles Bradley et al. And all he really specified in terms of what they wanted was: funk, soul, disco, house and 90’s R&B,
So I did my thing!
Such a genuinely gorgeous group of people. I have rarely had that. Often there is at least one, ahem, &&@&head, but not last night.
Amazing Caribbean food too and a stunning, old school venue!!
