I always look forward to exploring new places, even in dull early spring weather. Here is a few snaps from Rochester and the cathedral there. Saxon and Norman influences, a place of worship since AD604. The Peace Doves are an art installation by Peter Walker to bring focus to thoughts of peace and hope.
A picturesque and bustling town with a lot of community spirit, sweet tea rooms, food & cheese, and something to wash it all down 😃

Here is a little look at The Linnean Society’s member's 150th anniversary in its current home in New Burlington House, built specifically for the Society and its needs on London’s Piccadilly. It has provided a space for scientists, historians, artists and dedicated nature lovers to meet, research and collaborate from the Victorian era until the present day. The collection is beautiful and fascinating, such a fun evening.
