MGs are looking to hire some brilliant part-time/ad-hoc bakers and Saturday cafe staff to
support our core team.
The roles require flexibility, with shifts mostly being 9-5 during the week but also including
some Saturdays.

Applicants need to be comfortable in a customer facing role as well as well as getting stuck in baking in our Hackney kitchen, cleaning and packing up orders.
We will train you up in our signature recipes and processes, but are looking for talented, experienced bakers who are comfortable with cake decorating (stacking, crumb coating, filling and decorating), have worked with pastry, brownies, cookies, macarons are more.
Barista experience a bonus.

MAKES ABOUT 50 BISCOTTI
5 eggs @clarence_court
500g plain flour
400g caster sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
200g shelled whole pistachios
200g whole blanched almonds
200g shelled hazelnuts
Grated zest of 2 lemons
Sprinkle of salt @maldonsalt
Oven to 180c fan
Whisk eggs + sugar until thick, and streams in ribbons 🎀
All rest of ingrdients in a bowl - gently mix through the eggs/sugar
Divide mix into 6 equal pieces
With wet hands roll each into a long log. About 1inch wide, and as long as you baking tray
Flatten slightly - bake for 10-15 mins - until lightly golden
Take out of the oven for a few mins to firm up
Turn the oven down to 120c
Use a serrated knife to slice into diagonal strips
Gently bake - cut side up - to dry out the strips - about 10 mins
Turn over the biscotti, and bake the other side for 10 mins - to fully dry out
Store in an airtight jar
Sub in the flavours - dried fruit, nuts, zests, chocolate chips… a great edible gift, and for coffee dunks ☕️
