Walking 400k between us over 2 days for the charity C.A.L.M (I’m not calm about this!!) Www.justgiving.com/team/foursisters My big sister (Robyn) turns 40 this year and what better way to celebrate then walking 400k between us around the Thames... 🤔 ... I can think of better ways and anyone who knows me knows I’m not a huge fan of voluntary physical exertion! However... you know what, I think it’s a smashing idea and for an amazing #charity. If you are anything like me this year has totally turned my head. I have been through a roller coaster of a year, with personal matters, my business in jeopardy with the global pandemic. (Luckily we have come out thriving!) Not having the usual contact with loved ones or simply anyone! Learning how to live differently. Learning to be alone, to find different things to do. The list goes on. I’ve learned new skills, and more of an understanding of other people, I’ve been on a mental health awareness course and tried to be more patient. You really just don’t know what people are going through. We’re all only human but we can try to help others can’t we! I was driving along the motorway, home from work last week and I saw a man above me ready to jump from the bridge. Luckily there was a lady at his aid talking him to safety and police stopping the traffic. Even thinking about it now makes me want to burst into tears. Sometimes life is a constant battle with huge ups and downs and we need to be here for each other and get through it, even just to listen, and most importantly we’re here to ENJOY LIFE ! ☺️☀️ PLEASE DONATE to us! ... truth be told the sisters are winning at the fund raising and I need to up my game 😂👌🏻 I really hate asking for money, but this is a goodun!
