Hey everyone, 

We have some news about the 1001 music account. As of next week, this account will no longer be active, we have FINALLY decided just to run everything off the main 1001 account, as having 3 accounts was, of course, proving too much to handle. I mean who has 3 insta accounts anyway?! 

The music account was also previously the account for Werkhaus, so it already went through a bit of a change. So if you like all the musical ramblings and such as our music of the week, weekly listings featuring our great DJs, LP events, or just any old music stuff, this will now all take place over on . 

And in the spirit of the spirit of this account being the Werkhaus account then the music account, this account will of course be used for something else, like some sort of musical butterfly metamorphosis or a phoenix if we’re feeling spicy, what that is will be revealed very soon.

So please message the main 1001 account, as we will no longer be looking at the inbox.

Just announced 🎇 Brick Lane Block Party is back once again, this time for a NYE special on Sunday 31st December. Early bird tickets on sale now.

We're partnering up with Loose Legs & Dancing With Friends, our naughty pizza joint Sleazy Pizza, and east London's favourite boozer Brick Lane Tap Room, to bring you a stacked lineup across 3 venues. One unmissable night of music & FREE PIZZA, all under one ticket. What's not to love? From House, Italo & Disco to Soul, Jazz and MPB - this line up has got you covered.

Summer might be over but fear not as this November, we're delighted to welcome the inception of a special new event series to 1001 - Loft Lates.

🚨 COMPETITION TIME🚨 We're giving away entry plus 3 to any show and £100 bar tab.

These select nights will go past our usual curfew, taking you well into the early hours. We've carefully curated each line up to showcase first-time musical pairings and talent debuts, all inside our beautiful handmade oak booth and analog Hi-fi sound system. Expect in depth & eclectic vinyl led selections from Jazz, Funk & Soul to Reggae & Dub through to House and Italo played by some of the best talent within the UK and beyond.

🦇 Halloween two part special announcement - 28th & 29th October 👻

Part 1: Friday 27th // 21:00 - 03:00
Rhode & Brown (Toy Tonics) & Lucidé

We're thrilled to host very special guests, Munich based DJ and producer duo, Rhode & Brown head to the capital for their long awaited 1001 debut. With releases on labels such as Toy Tonics, Public Possession, Let’s Play House or their own imprints Slam City Jams and RTB Records, they established themselves as an important part of the scene within the past years. If you've been to any of their previous gigs in London, Paris, Berlin through to Moscow you'll know how fun, energetic and eclectic their sets are. Do not miss this!

Joining them are our nearest and dearest and 1001 residents Lucidé. A wonderful staple of our lineups here over the years, Lucide are one of our favourite DJ duos, who bring the heat each time with their House, Disco and Funk selections. Jazz and Rare Grooves seamlessly find their way into each set.

Part 2: Saturday 28th // 21:00 - 03:00
Voices x Discotheque Tropicale

Two of our favourite crews return for a very special collab takeover in the Loft. We can't wait to welcome back beloved radio community Voices Radio and the unstoppable collective, event series and record label Discotheque Tropicale. They have a heavy focus on Afro-Caribbean reissues (especially zouk) supported by some of the biggest names in dance music this year including Antal, Hunee and Palms Trax. 

Ticket start from £5 (which is actually cheaper than a pint).

Over the weekend we said goodbye to Werkhaus. The last few years have been such a fun and wild journey, and we are so grateful to the artists, fans and staff who made the space what it was💥

Those who stepped into Werkhaus will be well aware of our sister venue Cafe 1001. This account will now be dedicated to celebrating the incredible selectors that touch down in the space, as well as the musical influences within the venue. We hope to get some of the Werkhaus heavyweights into Cafe 1001 for more intimate events with our faves.

With its handmade oak DJ booth designed and built by Don Heston and upgraded analog sound system, thanks to Friendly Pressure, the venue operates as a hi-fi bar and cocktail lounge.

Stay tuned for plenty of exciting news to come.

Tonight’s the night, the Final Dance in Werkhaus.

Last night was a dream, we thank everyone who came through to celebrate the incredible artists and our beautiful space. Doors open at 10pm tonight for one last time. Secret lineup. All some of our favourite artists who have graced the Werkhaus booth before. Let’s see this one out properly❤️‍🔥
