Formed in 2021, BABEL BRASS BAND has been making waves on the European and UK music scene with their dynamic live performances. They have already delivered close to 100 performances at numerous festivals and venues captivating audiences with their high-energy music and engaging stage presence including Camp Bestival, Boardmasters Festival, Brighton Fringe Festival, Alexandra Palace Festival, Islander Festival, Isle of Wight Rhythm Tree Festival, Meatopia Festival, Spraoi International Festival, All Points East Festival, Ally Pally Fireworks Festival, Sparkle in the Park Festival, London Remixed Festival, and many more.

Their original arrangements, gorgeous jazz harmonies, and stunning improvised solos are already entertaining crowds wherever they play! Their performances often include collaborations with rappers, vocalists and DJs and have repertoire adjustable for any occasion.

What sets the Babel Brass Band apart from other brass bands is their commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive community through their music. They believe that music has the power to unite people from all walks of life, and they strive to make their music accessible to everyone. The South London Soul Train, taking all passengers on a Non-Stop Magical Mystery Tour through all things Too Damn Funky. P-Funk to Jazz Funk, Soul Jazz to Rare Groove N’ Stax, Brass, Breaks, Bop and Hop to Motown, Club Classics and Anthems.

However - Passengers are requested to check their Souls at the Station as this one's for good time party people only! No Bass Wobbles Here, Only Love, Funk and Souuuuuuuul.

Formed on the frontline of Bristol’s renowned jam scene, SCH features seven of the city’s very best musicians. Channeling 70s era P-Funk grooves with the s*x and swagger of neo soul artists such as D’Angelo and Eliza, they make music for the singular purpose of good times.

Since beginning in 2021, the group has earned themselves a reputation as one of the city’s hottest live acts for starting the party and keeping it rolling. During this short space of time they’ve performed on main stages at UK festivals, supported Fred Wesley and played at Soho’s famous Pizza Express Jazz Club.

If you need to dance, the raw vocals, heavy grooves and virtuoso improvisational skills of Stone Cold Hustle are a no brainier!

A night highlighting the sounds that emerged as the 70’s, turned into the 80’s and the DNA of club music as we know it today was being written. The dance floor awaits.

Our story

Bringing new life to the once empty levels of the multi-storey carpark, Peckham Levels exists to showcase the cultural talent at work in Peckham. Peckham Levels has created affordable workspaces for many of the people who are part of Peckham’s identity, from the designers, makers, and creators taking up residence across our studios and workspaces to the food, drink and events entrepreneurs on our public floors, Levels 5 & 6.

This constantly evolving space will change and develop over the coming months and years as we work with our members and the local community to ensure Peckham Levels continues to offer and support opportunity for SE15 and beyond. We’re currently here for the next 6 years, with hope of reviewing our lease for the next 20, inline with the extended lease of the carpark with Southwark Council.

We are aiming to hold two major Open Studio events each year, with regular markets, exhibitions, pop-up’s, Kids Klub, talks, film screenings and more.
