🖤 CELEBRATE BLACK HISTORY MONTH WITH Lounge Onyx!

Presented by ONYX FATALE and happening THIS THU, 24th October Omnibus Theatre, Clapham, LOUNGE ONYX features some of the most talented and sought-after Black cabaret performers in the UK.

Inspired by the legendary The Cocoa Butter Club, Lounge Onyx aims to showcase the best of drag, pole dancing, poetry, burlesque, spoken word, circus performances, clowning and comedy.

Produced by our wonderful friend and 2020 Burlesque Idol winner Onyx Fatale, this show is curated to bring visibility to black performers and create a safe and nurturing space for them to share their talents in the way that are not only seen but celebrated.

Headlined by one of our MILKy favourites and the UK's #1 Burlesque performer, the fierce, the unapologetic, the ferocious... Cleopantha, this is one you don't want to miss.

🚨 We first encountered Dru Cripps wearing only his underpants, creating a song on a Loopstation about a man from the audience who he claimed was his dad (but possibly wasn't). For this moment we knew his brand of "spontaneously funny chaos" was perfect for Hooray Cabaret.

🕺 Fresh off hit west end show Sophie's Surprise 29th, and winner of Dabbers Bingo Next Top Comedy Caller audience vote, Dru is an act that needs to be seen to be misunderstood.

🤡 "Show stealing" Dru has been trailblazing the London comedy circuit with his "astute abilities in clowning that lets him play the audience perfectly" and earning him more ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ reviews than should really be allowed for someone who likes to "show up and see what happens".

🤸 Known for high energy, dynamic burlesque acts, fierce dance moves, hilarious parodies, rip-roaring hosting and being the self-titled (and unchallenged) "world’s leading drag fitness instructor" with her global internet phenomenon, Drag Aerobics, Dolly is versatile performer full of surprises, commonly reviewed: “I’m exhausted just from watching”.
