This Christmas has been our busiest yet at Gardenia, and we couldn’t be more grateful for your support! The shop has been buzzing with festive cheer, and I’m so proud of our incredible team, who have worked tirelessly to make this season special for all of you.
Floristry is tough - it’s long hours, it’s cold, and your hands take a beating, but we absolutely love what we do. Seeing your smiles, hearing your stories, and being part of your celebrations make it all so worthwhile.
As we reflect on this incredible year, I also want to share something personal. Recently, I lost my wonderful mum, who passed away after a long illness. She was the heart and soul of our family business - from my dad’s first shop in the 70s to helping us open Gardenia in Wimbledon Village 25 years ago. Her energy, dedication, and love for life helped shape everything Gardenia stands for today.
This year has reminded me of the amazing community we’re lucky to be part of. Your support has made this a truly positive year for our High Street, and it means the world to us.
To anyone finding this season tough, you’re not alone. We’re sending you strength and comfort. Thank you for being part of the Gardenia family - something my mum was so proud of, and that I am too.
