FOOD FOR THOUGHT: British Pie Week takes place every year on the first full week of March and was started back in 2007.

Interestingly, the concept of ‘pie’ has been around with the ancient Egyptians. Some believe the first pies were early Roman. At the time, the sole purpose was to preserve the filling and not for eating.
As a fully-fledged nation of pie lovers, it’s a great fun awareness day to get behind. With so many great recipes available it just falls to you to decide what kind of a pie lover you are – Whether sweet or savoury? filo pastry or thick crust? Let us know what your favourites are!

To celebrate Pie Week at Berkeley’s our amazing chefs created 3 traditionally classic British pies but with an exquisite or exotic twist!

There is hope on the horizon. Some key dates from yesterday's government announcement...

To all of the events and office spaces we have the pleasure to cater for (and those we have yet too), yesterday's announcement was long awaited. There is still a long way to go, but we have a clearer roadmap to allow us back into places of work and hold those important meetings and events. From everyone at Berkeley Catering, we are here to support you and can't wait to work together again.

In the meantime we will have plenty of new exciting announcements of our own to make!

Berkeley Catering has emerged as a new brand from the very successful Il Cappuccino Catering Company which has been in business for over 20 years.

We believe that as the company evolved we required a fresh identity and image to embrace the standards that we have established and our customers have come to expect, therefore Berkeley Catering was created.
