Ten years of The Blue Room Catering! 🎉🥰🎉 Ten years! 🙌🏾 Who could have imagined that when I left the day job on that last day, with a vision of what I wanted to do next, we’d still be here now? Ten years of hard work, amazing food, laughter, tiredness like I’ve never known, zero sleep, wonderful supportive customers & clients, friendship to last a lifetime, too many happy memories to count, and we’re still here! 🙌🏾❤️ Here’s to the next ten years, after which chef Sonia will hopefully be putting the chef whites and knives out to pasture! ☺️ However, it’s all down to you, our loyal, amazing customers. No business can survive without you. Thank you ❤️ Now for a bit of sad news. We’re currently having an hiatus from our evening dinner services at The Blue Room. This decision hasn’t been taken lightly and is a hard one for me personally, particularly as this is where our business first started all those years ago. If and when they’re back, I will keep you updated on our pages. We’re still available and happy to cater your event bookings, and our Jerk Sunday lunches will be back soon. The girls are back in town! ☺️ It’s been a while! We’ll be back in TBR kitchen next weekend for our October menu 🎉 Come and join us! We’d love to see you. Really looking forward to running our Christmas Tasting Menu this year. It’s always such a fun, relaxed evening with wonderful guests, vibes and food! And eight courses! We run the restaurant from our little home in Crofton Park where we welcome many people from all walks of life. We do shared tables so our guests can meet new people and chat away to their hearts content. It does work, I promise! 😊 We’ve been told that our tasting menu is the highlight of the year! Our Mexican Sunday Lunch will be available on 28th April from 12-4pm 🙌🏾 Choose from chicken feijoada, chilli beef or refried beans (vegan.) All meals include rice, cajun tortilla chips, corn salad, guacamole, sour cream, tomato salsa, grated cheese and sliced jalapeños.
