Our players will show their support for team-mate Michail Antonio tonight, following his road traffic accident on Saturday.

The Hammers striker underwent surgery on a lower limb fracture on Sunday, and is currently recovering in hospital. He remains in everyone’s thoughts as he continues his rehabilitation from Saturday’s incident.

Everyone at the Club would like to reiterate their heartfelt thanks to the first responders, emergency services, air ambulance staff and the NHS for the incredible support given to Michail in the wake of the accident.

Ahead of tonight’s Premier League fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers, the players will warm-up in special ‘Antonio 9’ shirts, as well as walking out in tops adorning the striker’s name.

The Club will auction off the walk-out tops, with each one signed by every member of the squad, including Michail. In addition, every match worn shirt from tonight’s fixture will also be auctioned, signed by each respective squad member.

All proceeds raised from the auction will be split between the NHS and Air Ambulances UK Charity, the national charity supporting the lifesaving work of the UK’s air ambulance charities.

All proceeds will also be matched by the Club’s Board.

Home to West Ham United in the Premier League & UK Athletics, as well as host to the biggest names in music and global sporting events, London Stadium serves as the crown of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, in the heart of East London.

The former Olympic Stadium in Stratford is building a legacy to befit its history. The most-used Stadium in Europe through 2017, the venue saw West Ham complete their first Premier League season at London Stadium, before our summer concert series attracted more than 250,000 people over four events. That series was crowned by a weekend of sold-out shows by Guns N’ Roses, reuniting the rock legends in the UK for the first time in 25 years.

Before the dust had time to settle, the venue was transformed into the world’s finest athletics stadium. After hosting the Muller Anniversary Games, our golden summer continued with the IPC World ParaAthletics Championships and IAAF World Championships. The former saw 14 sessions of phenomenal human achievement, and the latter saw true legends of track and field take to London Stadium.
