All roads are leading to MULLINGAR Co Westmeath for a unique St Patrick’s Day Celebration. Started on Saturday the Eve of St Patrick’s Day.
St Patrick will arrive in the Harbour around 18.30 or 06.30pm on a barge. Follow the link below of last years event. With the experience of the Fleadh Cheoil 2022 & 2023 this year will improve “ push the boundaries of last year the First One it’s going to be a great Weekend.
This is a flavour for this years launch. Comprising of: 1) Last years flowtella from the Town Square “ Joe Dolan statue “ trough the Town over the Bridge turning left down to the Canal Bridge turning left into the Harbour “ To the music of Fergal Flaherty Singer/Songwriter “My Hearts in Ireland Today“ The song tell the story. A Tribute to Rally Legend Russell Brookes.
11th and 12th April 2020 New Ross Co. Wexford Ireland.

An Easter Weekend Tribute to the late Russell Brookes.
On the 29th October 2019 we said goodbye to Russell Brookes so as a tribute to Russell’s love for Irish Rallying “ So let’s go for a blast on some famous COI Stages” A host of Russell’s Ex Works Rally Cars will be there as well as some fine Replica’s in the Famous Andrews Colours. Remember the 5 day COI in the 70ies and 80ies. Leaving Northern Ireland on Good Friday on a 24 hour stent to Killarney. The famous Killarney Sunday Run. Then the Monday stent back to the finish on Tuesday in Northern Ireland. Covering 1500 miles of stages trough almost all Countries the length and breath of the Island. The early years saw the rally favouring the west coast until the mid eighties when it switched to the East and Waterford.
Well that’s why we have chosen the East Coast and the Town of New Ross Co. Wexford. Within as hour from Rosslare Harbour. We will be joined by the Brookes and Andrews Families as well as representatives from long term sponsors, navigators friends from the rallying world. The run will take in some of the famous COI Stages and scenic routes along the Copper Coast Coastline to Dungarvan‘s Gold Coast Hotel lunch halt. then inland to Portlaw and the famous stone wall stage crossing the river Suir at Fiddown more famous stages around Mulinvavat as we wind our way back to the finish in New Ross.
“This is going to be a special event not to be missed” we will keep you posted.

Copper Coast Challenge in sequence;
Pink Rock ; a short blast just minutes outside New Ross along by the banks of the Barrow , smooth fast and twisty.
Glenmore ; some real traditional Irish Tarmac here down the valley into the village and then back up the hill to Cats Rock, smooth with crests , technical stage.
Newtown Cove , Tramore ; breathtaking scenic coast road, Circuit of Ireland 1983 classic.
Copper Coast ;
One of the best coast roads in Ireland runs from Tramore to Dungarvan 22k of the best driving road in the country.
Kilmacthomas and Portlaw ; Again classic Circuit stage including the famous high stone walls of Portlaw where the reverberating sound of a group 4 on full song is amazing .
Gradys Pass ;
The mountain pass from Piltown to Mullinavat , a forgotten gem , with a series of crests and dips that can catch out the unwary and passes the spectacular Clonassy Falls if you can spare the time ?
Then it's just 13 k back to New Ross

Russell Brookes Chevette HSR the 1983 COI Winning car now owned by Graeme Sherry. A big thank you Graeme for supporting this years epic events in Ireland.
From the good old days. Hard to believe it's 33 years the end of this month. Fitting to say the car will be in Killarney for Circuit Deju Vu and a week later The Andrews Revival Ireland 2016 New Ross County Wexford. One of the many Andrews Heat for Hire cars that will be in Ireland for these 2 epic events. Come along and meet the Legends that made them years become "The Golden Years" in rallying.

This weekend we are at Race Retro Stand H15 in Hall 1 for the launch of Retrobeam Engineering and our website www.retrobeam.co.uk. Our aim is to supply every component required to build and support competitive Lotus Sunbeams. We offer turn key builds and rally support team.
