Around the world in 28 days! Or at least, it feels that way.

It’s been a month of jet-setting, designing, and prop sourcing for the LVF team.

We kicked off with a fantastic Valentine’s collaboration alongside Jane Bourvis, Mia Silvia, Natoora, and Ben Tynegate—an idea born from one of our monthly creative days. At LVF, we actively seek inspiration, using these sessions as containers for idea generation (and a lot of fun!). We’ve never shared them before—would you like to see more? Next stop: Rome!

Speaking of Rome... one of our Directors, Mimo, has set up shop there for the month as our Italian contingent and is proving quite the LVF ambassador! We’ve had site visits across Nice, Milan, and Rome, with prop-hunting escapades to Florence and beyond.

Back on British soil, the team has been in the Cotswolds for an exciting project later this year, with bi-monthly trips to Kempton for more antiques. This Sunday, we’re all off to meet Mimo in Rome!

Behind the scenes, we’re deep into a new branding exercise, and we can’t wait to share it.

Taking a step back, I’m overwhelmed by how far we’ve come and beyond excited for the year ahead. It feels like just yesterday I was working alone in a windowless shipping container!

I know investing in your craft can feel like a big step, but learning from the right people in the right environment changes everything.

We’re just six weeks away from From Farm to Masterpiece—two full-on days of learning, designing, and creating on a scale you won’t believe. This isn’t just about flowers—it’s about pushing creativity, mastering sustainable mechanics, and elevating your work.

A living Dutch Masters painting — a scene capturing the intangible, magical moment of a bride falling in love. This, at least, was the emotion we hoped to bottle for this shoot. Do you think we achieved it?⁠

We wanted it to feel like a fairytale, a moment that transcended time. Here, every element tells a story:⁠
⁠
- A beautiful lace dress and veil, weightless and delicate, hand-crafted with history. A stunning reinvention of something timeless.⁠
- Softening the edges of our fantasy world, the lashings of lush material drape over the surrounding surfaces, once again blurring the divide between the ‘now’ and the ‘then’.⁠
- Flowers gently dancing outward, brushing against the layers of lace and drapery, which blur the boundaries of our scene.⁠
- Radicchio, bold and beautiful: a symbol of something deeper in its connections to the seasons.⁠

All coming together, a tapestry exploding in front of the lens! The story behind the elements enriches the designs, making the memories they evoke all the more cherished.⁠

Incoming 2025 Trend: Purple!⁠

For quite some time, this unexpected, daring hue has been a bit of a Marmite colour - you either love it or hate it. We’ve always been firmly in the “love it” camp and couldn’t be more delighted to see this rich hue making a comeback in 2025 after spending a few years on the sidelines.⁠
⁠
Now, however, there’s an exciting shift away from all-white and cream tones, with people embracing bold, saturated colours - like deep shades of purple! - that add personality and character to a space. and event! ⁠

Just in time for some of our favourite purple faces to reappear: Anemones, Sweet Peas, Iris, Hyacinths & Tulips to name a few! ⁠

Spring is just on the horizon (we hope!). This weekend, we’ve immersed ourselves in the delicate beauty of the season’s earliest blooms - snowdrops, hellebores, ranunculus, and anemones. Their presence a quiet promise for the excitement of the year, and designs to come. ⁠

It’s extraordinary how much depth and variety can be found within a single flower family, each bloom a unique expression of beauty, waiting to captivate. Though their palette is different, our Easter shoot with DeGournay is a celebration of the very same flowers, in a very vibrant pallette. ⁠

We love this table so much and cant wait to create more spring moments in the weeks to come. ⁠

Wow, as we draw to a close on 2024, I’ve been reflecting on our events, weddings, workshops, and installations this year. It really has been an exciting year, filled with so many special moments. We have laughed, cried, and created the extraordinary, working all over Europe with the most amazing people.

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us throughout the year. You are the ones who keep us inspired and always allow us to create something that has never been seen before.

My team has grown from three to six, and I’ve had my first year as a mum. I couldn’t be prouder and more excited for 2025! But for now, here’s to 2024 — we will never forget you!

Two weddings in one day—a whirlwind of the very best kind! With a crisp winter chill outside, this design brought a fresh embrace to warm and timeless surroundings, creating a truly elegant backdrop for the couple’s special day.⁠

A garden-inspired design graced the space behind the couple’s seating, adding height and softness to the grandeur to the room. On either side, meadow gardens flourished, framing the couple beautifully during the ceremony and who doesn’t love a classic mantelpiece?! Chic and elegant.⁠

At LVF, wreaths hold a special place in our hearts - after all, they were where Lucy’s floristry journey began! But did you know that the Christmas wreath’s story is one of resourcefulness and timeless beauty?⁠ In the 16th century, as families pruned evergreens for their Christmas trees, they didn’t discard the trimmings. Instead, they wove them into circular wreaths - symbols of eternity, resilience, and hope. The evergreen, thriving even in the harshest winters, became a beacon of life and faith during the darkest days of the year.⁠

From day to night! A classically Christmassy design brought to life: three oversized crackers nestled within a majestic pine archway, adorned with rich red and gold foliage, crimson hydrangeas, and sparkling ornaments. Vibrant anime and vintage toy chandeliers burst like childhood dream come true from the crackers, creating a festive display of grandeur and whimsy.

It was an utter joy to bring an intimate and exquisitely refined wedding vision to life across two of London’s most storied and iconic venues, Marylebone Town Hall and Claridge’s. With a vision balancing modern structure and timeless grace, we wove a classic palette of lush greens and soft whites throughout the iconic interiors of each venue.⁠
⁠
Single stems of calla lilies and roses at varied heights among the amaranthus, gave the setting a delicate, organic rhythm whilst maintaining a minimalist, modern aesthetic. Every detail was chosen to honour the classic elegance of these iconic spaces, blending fresh natural ingredients with understated sophistication.⁠ Biggest congratulations to the happy couple on their magical day!

We can’t wait for more magic like this stunning event at the Lanesborough. ⁠Stepping into The Wine Cellar was like entering a secret garden, where flowers flowed like rivers along the walls and filled the room with a sense of serenity and magic. The ceiling felt alive, draped with florals that transformed the space into a lush, intimate cocoon. Candlelight brushed the room with a warm row, every detail whispering of art, nature, and the intoxicating allure of the seasons.

From Farm to masterpiece 2024

It's the first time I showed exactly how we design using sustainable mechanics and how I have grown my business to where it is today. We taught so many elements in three days and how important it was to look to the future of our industry rather than the past. It's always a little bit daunting when you properly open up for the first time but I can't explain how special those three days were for my team and I. It was even more special to hold the course to show how incredible our soils are and what they have to offer.

We can't believe the reaction we have had from all of you and we can't wait to show you what we have in store for you in the next couple of months... watch this space.

A family portrait at my sister-in-law's wedding with Alfie already showing a flare for the fluers!

We are never happier than when we are designing and redrafting spaces with flowers for clients. Usually we spend a few days at the venues, getting up early to and working through the night to craft our magic ready for the guests to enjoy. We love the transformational capacity that floral designs holds.

And every now and again, for very special occasions, we are able to enjoy our designs from the other perspective, as a guest and as family! Which is always such a treat!
