Our dedicated Event Managers always go above and beyond in the lead up to your special day and of course on the day itself to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Here’s doing what she does best, taking the time to steady our lovely groom Nick’s pre wedding nerves before his wedding to the lovely Ria.

An oldie but a goodie…. Roast Chicken Breast with Potato Fondant and a Pea & Truffle Purée is such a classic dish and SO popular, you can’t go wrong…

We aim to source all our produce from local suppliers and when we do this, the taste just can’t be beaten.

Couples have been asking us to make ‘naked’ wedding cakes for a while so we now offer this as part of the Saffron Caterers wedding package.

Introducing our Head Chef and Director Gareth Thomas....

Originally from Wales, Gareth was a professional rugby player earning six caps for his country before injury led him to pursue an entirely different path.

Training at the Prue Leith Cookery School, Gareth secured a role working for Jean Christophe Novelli at his Auberge du Lac restaurant before venturing to South Africa to work at Le Quartier Francais, an exclusive hotel at the foot of South Africa's stunning Franschhoek Mountains which was at the time ranked 46th in the Worlds 50 Best Restaurants.

On returning to the UK, Gareth secured the enviable role of training under Gary Rhodes at Rhodes 24 in the heart of the city before opening his own award winning restaurant 'The Rose & Crown' in Highgate.

Saffron Caterers launched in 2013 and has since flourished into a successful, family run business specialising in private events, weddings and more.

Gareth works closely with each client creating bespoke menus and delivering exceptional food for all occasions.

The sun is finally shining and it’s reminding us of this beautiful wedding we catered .

Alfresco dining in such a beautiful setting is the perfect way to start the wedding celebrations.

Grazing boards rich in colour complemented with vibrant floral displays and linens are the perfect combination.

Here’s to the fantastic British summer wedding season ahead. We can’t wait! 🥂

We had the absolute pleasure of catering Katie & Jimmy’s wedding in October and what a wonderful day it was.

The rain couldn’t dampen this joyous occasion and the whole day was full of fun and laughter.

of who were fantastic! We have been blown away by the entire experience, working with you in the lead up, the day itself, and especially by the spectacular food which was just incredible, and spot on, Gareth is so talented.

We had the most wonderful magical day, and so did all our guests, thank you for making it so special.’

I'm delighted to be a Judge at the London Venue & Catering Awards 2023 which celebrate and champion outstanding achievement in London-based venues and catering companies. If you want to be acknowledged as an award-winning venue or caterer, now is the time to sign up as you will save £50 per entry. The entry deadline for full submissions is 16 June. The winners will be revealed at a ceremony on 24 November at the City Central at the HAC and I hope to see lots of you there!

We were fortunate to be chosen by the wonderful and Ian to cater their wedding last weekend and it was simply magical!
