Grandirosa is an appointment-only floral design studio situated in the creative heartland of East London. We love to luxury deliver floral designs with impact, celebrating the grandeur of flowers. We source the best seasonal produce from New Covent Garden Market and various British growers to create artistic bouquets for delivery in London, floral design for private homes, luxury events and weddin

gs and full-scale installations. We have developed a wide portfolio of loyal clients across the luxury fashion and beauty industries and in hospitality and entertainment, as well as private clients, brides and event spaces. We pride ourselves on delivering a quality and premium service whilst providing innovative floral design with style. We are passionate about creating beauty and drama and are known for pushing boundaries in our floral designs and installations, aided by our in-house design and installation team.

Our barley field at Guinness Storehouse. Swipe right for the journey of the barley from field to Storehouse.

The barley was harvested at a beautiful farm in County Laois, a third generation supplier to Guinness.

Following months of planning, and despite weeks of rain, we were so lucky that the sun made an appearance on the day of the harvest. After tea and home made scones from the lovely family, the farmer used traditional methods to cut the golden barley into bunches, ready to be expertly dried. Even the family dog played its part beautifully on the day. A number of people from the village had heard about the project and came to watch.

Once the barley was separated and throughly dried, it was transported to London so we could begin our mammoth task of hand-bunching 40,000 bunches. Patience, weekly competitions and a huge sense of pride in the project kept the team motivated. Everything in this task was done by hand, expertly crafted.

On return to Dublin, it took us nearly a week to plant the barley into the custom made soil base. All done by hand and with love and attention.

Dramatic music and lighting was then added, as well as scent, to create an unrivalled multi-sensory experience for visitors to the Storehouse.

We were thrilled to return last week following a second harvest, and completion of a further 20,000 bunches.
