🪩 to MDLBeast Soundstorm 2019! 🪩

Can you believe we pulled off the inaugural MDLBeast Soundstorm in just 10 weeks?! 😅

A music festival of epic proportions and a historic first for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Soundstorm was the largest gathering for artists, music buffs, and young creatives seeking inspiration.

This three-day festival welcomed over 450,000 visitors to the outskirts of Riyadh, catapulting it into the top three biggest EDM events in the world.

With 150+ artists, Soundstorm was more than just entertainment; it was a cultural catalyst for Saudi youth.

LarMac worked closely with a world-class international team and incredible local music-industry talent to produce the first of many exhilarating MDLBeast events.

In celebration of the 60th anniversary of Gucci's official introduction to Japan, Gucci Cosmos, an exhibition that traces the House’s 100-year plus history to the present day, officially opened last week at the Kyoto City KYOCERA Museum of Art in Japan.

The special exhibition pays homage to Japan and Kyoto — the sister city of Florence, Italy, where Gucci was founded in 1921 — while spotlighting the House’s heritage, history of innovation, and creative legacy.

We’re proud to open this incredible exhibition — the third rendition of Gucci Cosmos after successful runs in Shanghai and London.

Es Devlin last night unveiled CONGREGATION, a new large-scale choral installation created in partnership with UK for UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency , the Refugee Agency’s national charity partner.

Showing daily at St Mary le Strand until 9 October 2024, the work, curated by Ekow Eshun, has been developed in collaboration with King’s College London in partnership with The Courtauld.

With festival season wrapping up we’re feeling a bit nostalgic, so we’re throwing it back to the magical 2023 CORONA SUNSETS FESTIVAL! 🌅

More than just a music festival, Corona Sunsets featured experiences from live art installations to culinary experiences, all designed to encourage attendees to connect with nature at the golden hour.

We had an incredible time bringing this event to life, overseeing the technical production and creating unforgettable experiences.

Big shoutout to our amazing partners Kilimanjaro Live and AB InBev for making it all possible. 🙌

In collaboration with The Power of Events, Production Futures, PLASA, and LIVE, this film highlights the incredible career opportunities available within the live events' industry.

The film aims to demystify the industry and show young people what really goes on behind the scenes at a gig, unveiling lesser-known job opportunities in Live Events, and exploring the roles that make events go from paper to reality.

If you're an educator, advisor, or student aged 12+, this is a brilliant chance to explore the world of live events and the amazing pathways it offers.

With a 25k capacity, it was the place to be!

Futuristic electronic elements, electrifying soundscapes, and immersive lighting ensured the world’s biggest indoor main stage takeover by Zenless Zone Zero was next-level.

🎾 As Wimbledon and the Olympics dominate the summer, tennis fever has swept across the globe! But we're reminiscing about another iconic tennis event: the Necker Cup!

Now over 10 years old, the Necker Cup tournament takes place on Sir Richard Branson’s private island, Necker, and has seen tennis legends like Rafa Nadal and Novak Djokovic grace its courts.

This unique six-day event pairs world top tennis legends with guests to compete for the coveted Necker Cup Trophy amidst the stunning Caribbean backdrop.

LarMac has been proud to handle the technical production of this extraordinary event, continuing our decade-long relationship with Necker Island. From Holly Branson's wedding to various high-profile events, every moment has been magical, all while supporting wonderful charitable causes.

We’re proud to celebrate the positive social impact achieved through our work with Connection Crew.

Over the last 12 months we’ve generated 1,276 hours for crew affected by homelessness (that’s equivalent to 34 weeks of work.) And offset 3,376.8kg of carbon at the same time!

By working together, we’re helping people who are far from the job market to access training, mentoring and London Living Wage jobs, while minimising impact on the environment, and creating exceptional experiences!

Thank you so much for the kind words and for all your hard work creating fairer employment opportunities for all!

We can’t wait to see what 2024 brings.
