Happy Christmas Eve Eve!

I’d planned to show you all the beautiful things we made last year (not a lot happen this year as you can imagine)
But with Tier 4 I couldn’t face it.
If this year has done anything it’s made me feel proud of the work I’d done previously, especially as I’ve always struggled to do that before!

One of the biggest jobs of 2019 was making costumes for the designed by

FANTASYLAND🏔
We are so excited to introduce the second instalment of . We made the decision as we were heading into lockdown two that we wanted to continue our Fantasyland journey (slightly earlier than planned). What started off as a project for the team during the first lockdown to keep us connected, and a way for us all to continue being creative, has proved to be a huge highlight of our year. Thank you to and the creative team for saying “Yes” and turning this around at such short notice. Over the next few weeks we will be revealing two new magical worlds from the series, starting with which was created to spread a little festive fun.

I had so much fun creating these costumes. It’s not often that I’m happy with my work but I can say I’m pretty please with these.

Couple goals

Hello!
My colleague and I share a studio in Dalston (E8 2NH) we do fashion and costume between us. We have had someone using a quarter of the space for storage but she will be leaving at the end of September. So, we'd like to find someone to take her space, either for storage or as a normal desk space rental.

Its a light filled space in a building with many other artists studios. It's not shiny but that's why it's cheap. There's a community cafe on the first floor with v affordable lovely lunches etc..
£200/month -All inclusive price with Wifi, lecky, water, 24 hour access, communal loos and water supply. 1 mnths rent deposit.

The space would be great for a designer, Supervisor, illustrator, maker.
As we both work with fabric and often on very complex, detailed, valuable pieces, we cannot share with a painter or other potentially messy practice, I hope that's understandable.

In the pictures you can see the two photos showing the available area (desk space plus another section of space on the other side of the door currently with shoe boxes stacked in) You can put up shelves or even a bit of partition.

Tilly and I have been sharing space for over two years now, we are chilled and considerate of each other with regards to noise, meetings, bringing people in etc.. We make some noise with the machines sometimes but not every day, and I don't think it's very disturbing anyway. it's on and off depending what kind of projects we have on. Nothing your headphones won't block out anyway. On the whole Tilly and I are in every day for working hours, so it would be extra suitable for someone on different hours or less than full time use as I guess we move around a lot whilst working so less bodies is easier.. But this is just a preference not a deal breaker.

We also have a dog! can you see her under the table in the picture with our red kitchen shelves? But she's no bother at all.

Tonight is the last 😢Over the last 25 weeks this incredible human has been entertaining us every week with the quiz which in my household and many more has been the highlight of our week! We will miss it dearly but as the world slowly goes back to normal all good things must come to an end.

I want to say a huge thank you to this wonderful human for helping to keep me sane over the last few months.
