1st Anniversary Notice, Co. Londonderry

Cherished memories of Jeffrey William John (Jeff) Patterson who passed away on the 4th December 2023.

Partings come and hearts are broken,
loved ones go with words unspoken,
Deep in our hearts there’s a memory kept,
for a Husband and Daddy we’ll never forget,
some day we hope to meet you,
some day we know not when,
to clasp your hand in a better land never to part again.
Lonely is our home without you,
life to us is not the same,
all this world would be like Heaven
just to have you back again.

Loved and sorely missed by his Wife Lisa, Son Sam and Daughter Lauren

1st Anniversary Notice - Co. Londonderry

Jeffrey William John (Jeff) Patterson

Passed away on the 4th December 2023

We little knew that morning

God was going to call your name

In life we loved you dearly

In death we do the same

It broke our hearts to lose you,

You did not go alone,

For part of us went with you

The day God called you home,

You left us beautiful memories,

Your love is still our guide,

And though we cannot see you,

You are always by our side.

Our family chain is broken

And nothing seems the same

But as God calls us one by one

The chain will link again

Always remembered and sadly missed by Drew, Margaret, Claire, Rebecca and Ryan.

1st Anniversary Notice - Co. Londonderry

Jeffrey William John (Jeff) Patterson

Remembering our precious Son & Brother Jeffrey who died untimely on 4th December 2023.

You never liked to say Goodbyes the times you were here with us,
The reason was simple; you didn’t like a fuss.
But nothing could prepare us for loss on the Monday you went to work,
No Goodbyes; no chance to hold your hand and cry,
No ache nor pain, you did not complain
But you went to die alone
It’s hard for us to say goodbye
But praying still to justify.

Until we meet again.

Lovingly remembered by your Dad, Mum, Sisters, Lynsey & Kathryn

We would like to highlight that there is an active related to the sector.

Today, a recently bereaved family were in touch to inform us that a third party pretending to be their Funeral Director or Third Party acting on their behalf, through Facebook messenger were offering a recording of the funeral service (this message contained a picture of their loved one taken from an online notice and seemed legitimate).

Church services (all types, including Funerals) are often streamed live and/or recorded (since the pandemic these facilities have become more popular), this is probably one of the reasons that this type of scam has come about.

We would encourage anyone who receives a message like this to speak to their Funeral Director directly before clicking on any links and/or making any type of payment to ensure that it is legitimate.

Not wanting to state the obvious, however, we were appalled to understand that this type of activity (targeting bereaved family members at what is an extremely vulnerable time) can take place and wanted to highlight it to all who may fall prey.

Kindest regards,
D & R Hay and Sons Funeral Directors
