My Story

There’s pretty much only two things I photograph these days, musicians and brides, oh, and stuff I just happen to come across whilst out and about. On the bridal front, I love doing weddings! “The craic is mighty” as they say in these parts. With buck-mental bridesmaids and groomsmen who seem to forget how to stand normally as soon as you point a camera at them, those days just fly in.

I would tend to use the word 'fun' a lot in description of my services, because having the ability to put a bride and her groom at ease is essential, I much prefer to have relaxed looking wedding photographs, than those stuffy formal ones with fake smiles. Having covered weddings for over 12 years now, I know the rhythm of the day, I know where to be and when to be there, so there’s no worries on that front. Music photography is my other passion. Not just the photographing of gigs, but also the filming, you’ll usually find me at some Open Mic Night filming new and emerging singers and bands, keeps me out of mischeif I suppose.

As I said at the beginning, there’s the third thing, the van build, which I’ve blogged about a fair bit recently, but as of February 2018 the build is on! The tools are bought, and the plans have been drawn, now I just have to get my finger out and get started.
