Hello everyone,
Tails and Woofs are a friendly and reliable pet service. We provide dog walking services, any pet pop ins and any pet sittings as well. Dog walking is either one to one or in a group, pet pop ins are 20-30 minutes depending on the pet need and great to support puppy/kitten socialising and pet sitting is done in the comfort of the pets own home whilst you are away. Hi all, hope everybody is well.

Question…. What do your kids do with their spare time?

Here at Breadsall Marine Training Corps we offer a whole new life of learning outside of the everyday school curriculum. I mean History and Maths is great, but the list of learning here at the MTC goes on and we’d love to distribute some incredibly useful Military based skills to the younger community of the area.

The MTC Breadsall was established in 2024 and is thriving and growing at a strong rate, so there’s no better time to become part of this fast growing organisation.

Too young to join regular cadets? No problem, as the age minimum at the MTC starts from 9 years old up to 17.

Instead of seasonal boredom taking over and having nothing to do, they can turn that spare time into learning Weapon Handling, Survival Skills, Engineering, Camping, Map Reading, get involved in Anti-Bullying community work and much more. The list goes on and on….

Here at MTC Breadsall we have an incredible team with a very extensive history of Military Experience, both in and outside of Active Military service. There’s also opportunities within the MTC for adults aged 21+ to join as an instructor too.

If you think your child, nephew, niece or grandkids would benefit from turning their spare time into some incredibly useful and exciting military based skills, simply head down to the Breadsall MTC unit at the times and days below where we’ll happily talk you through the process of getting involved.

We also have a page where you can see all the regular and up to date training our cadets undergo. Feel free to visit the Marine Training Corps - Breadsall page for all the recent activities.

For anybody just outside of the Breadsall area, no fear, as we have MTC Jacksdale and MTC Allenton too who again welcome you to visit their units and talk about joining our ever growing team.

🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT: On Friday February 28th, I’ll be hosting a drop-in session in Ilkeston and all about Ilkeston 🚨

You might remember, at the end of last year, I did two drop-ins for SEND parents in Long Eaton and Ilkeston. These are a little different from my regular advice surgeries - looser, more relaxed, no strict appointments, just drop-in for a chat.

If you want to talk about how things are going in Ilkeston town centre, crime and anti-social behaviour, traffic and potholes, shutting down Bennerley Fields care home… drop-in for a chat with me and other Ilkeston residents, biscuits and tea/coffee very much available.
