So last week I made a 150mile round trip to a beautiful part of Cornwall to conduct a small and intimate wedding ceremony for my couple and their closest family.
My couple went to Penzance Registration Office with two family members to register their marriage legally, then went to one of groom's favourite beaches, which held childhood memories for him, where their collective children were waiting to welcome them for their wedding ceremony.
A ceremony filled with love and laughter, a poem, a reading and a beautiful song, the sun shone and celebrations followed. There were even a few lines in Cornish!
It was exactly what they wanted, their day, their way, making memories to stay.
