We're looking to expand our roster of talented artists for session work at The Pump House. If you're a skilled musician or vocalist seeking paid recording opportunities, we’d love to hear from you.

Whether you're experienced in a variety of styles or specialise in a specific genre, we’re always open to fresh talent. If you’re interested in working with us, please reach out with:

1. A brief introduction and what instruments or vocals you specialise in.
2. A link to your music or any relevant samples.
3. Your preferred genres or styles.

In addition to the usual requests for drummers and guitarists, we’ll likely be seeking the services of brass and string musicians in the near future. So if you know of anyone who may be interested, please send them our way.

Has it really been 10 years??

We’re putting the final touches to tomorrow’s open day, and here’s what’s on the agenda:

12pm - Nicky Haxby
1.30pm - Vocal Workshop with Laura
2.45pm - Competition Winners Announcement
3pm - Laser Pig

Andy will be hosting a jam session in the live room all afternoon, while Tom shows off some recording and mixing techniques. We’ve got the PA and a bunch of amps ready, so bring your favourite instrument and jump in!

Visitors will have the opportunity to book discounted recording sessions on the day. Refreshments are on us, but if you can, please consider donating to Nicky’s charities.

Besides our live performances this Sunday, we’ll be displaying a range of fine art prints by Grimsby’s own Marc Renshaw. Visitors to our open day will have the opportunity to meet Marc in person, where he will offer a variety of prints, drawings, cards, and tote bags for purchase.

We’re excited to share that Louth-based electronic duo Laser Pig will be joining us for this Sunday’s open day event! Expect a captivating blend of synthetic sounds, samples and layers of atmospheric vocals, sprinkled with bloops and bleeps.

This marks their first live performance together since 2016, so make sure you don’t miss out on this, along with our other exciting acts, workshops, and recording demonstrations!

We’re delighted to be welcoming Nicky Haxby to perform at our open day next weekend! Nicky is a familiar face on the local music scene, often spotted playing her guitar and singing around Louth and Horncastle. A lover of folk music, every penny she earns goes to help those in need, and she has successfully raised almost £30,000 from busking alone!

The studio will be open to visitors from 12pm on Sunday 29th September.

Time is running out! Around 20 bands are currently in the running to win 10 hours of studio time, with only 9 days left to enter.
