šŸ•°ļø Don’t forget the clocks go back tonight!

That extra hour might feel like a bonus, but shorter days mean darker starts and finishes on farm.

Be seen. Be safe. Stay alert.

Recently I had the great privilege of being asked to lead a naming ceremony for a gorgeous little family. Since then I've had a few questions about naming ceremonies.

What exactly is a naming ceremony?

Think of it as a celebration of your little one’s arrival. It’s the chance to officially introduce their name, share its meaning, and surround them with love from friends and family. These ceremonies can take place anywhere that feels right to you—a cosy home, a favourite garden, a woodland space, or even a local community space. I’m based here on the East Coast of England and I can tell you that in those summer months especially the beach is a very popular location choice.

For more information about naming ceremonies then please feel free to send me a message or pop over to my website www.nickwebbcelebrant.co.uk

Sometimes it is necessary to slow down and take a breath before making your next move.

A pleasant morning of contemplation, clearing my head, before heading back to the office to write up new funeral services.

What does it mean to be a Civil Celebrant?

It means creating ceremonies that are warm, personal, and inclusive. Ceremonies that honour life’s most important moments whether that's weddings, farewells, or naming ceremonies—with heart and humanity.

Being a Civil Celebrant doesn’t mean being cold or formal—it means respecting everyone’s beliefs and stories while crafting a space where love, loss, and life can be truly celebrated.
My promise is simple: every ceremony is written with care, delivered with compassion, and designed to reflect the people at its heart. That’s what ā€œcivilā€ really means.

Get in touch today via messenger or via the website and we can talk about what your ceremony looks like to you.

ā˜•āœØ Dying for a Cuppa: The Podcast is back this September!

Recording is happening right now and I’m so excited to share that this new round of episodes will feature some very special guests, each bringing their own real-life stories of death and dying.

We’ll be talking very openly and honestly about what really happens when someone dies — the extremes, the everyday realities, what we witness, and how we feel. These episodes will be very raw, very honest, completely unedited, and more relevant than ever.

I hope to help folks feel less alone and let people know that your ā€˜not normal’ situations are more normal than you realise.

I’m bringing these conversations into the mainstream because death is part of life, and it deserves a seat at the table (with a strong brew and an extra large sugary treat to hand for these chats coming up ā˜•šŸ°)

šŸŽ§ You’ll find Dying for a Cuppa on Spotify, Amazon, and Apple Podcasts — so go hit follow, click the notifications, leave a rating and all that jazz so you don’t miss the September launch.

And please PLEASE give this a share, the most common feedback I’ve received is that people are so glad they found the podcast as the content and conversations are so needed, and you never know who needs to hear it šŸ™šŸ¼

There are already 18 episodes ready and waiting for you with just a few weeks to go until these new one land in your ears.

Big, brave, real conversations are coming. Are you ready?

I don't think I could have said it better myself....

Yesterday was pure magic of a different sort. Whilst I adore the magic of a wedding, it was truly magical yesterday to be here leading what was a beautiful baby naming ceremony for an equally beautiful family. Not to mention the gorgeous venue we were at.

The Sessions house, Spalding - what an incredible host you were. Please if you get a moment take a little look at their blog, I've linked it below for you. They have summed up yesterday beautiful and I would like to express what an absolute pleasure and privilege it was to work with you.

If you're local to the Lincolnshire area or if you're willing to travel for your special event then I cannot recommend the Sessions House enough!

Thank you for having meā¤ļø

This past weekend, we had the immense pleasure of hosting a beautiful naming ceremony right here at The Sessions House. There's something truly special about seeing a family celebrate such an important milestone, and doing so in our unique Court Room made for an unforgettable day.The atmosphere was....

Continuing keeping busy with road trip number 2. Today I'm heading over to Spalding, Lincolnshire for a naming ceremony!

Well the venue was stunning, the weather was gorgeous and the beautiful couple absolutely wowed!šŸ˜

What a day it was yesterday. The early start to get on the road was well worth it for this couple. When they first contacted me there was a brief moment where they weren't sure if I'd travel for their special day.. but of course I said absolutely and so a road trip down to Essex was in place. I cannot express how truly honoured I was to be asked to be the celebrant for this truly special day. There were Celebrants much closer to the location that I'm sure would have done a fine job so be asked to head on over was extremely humbling.

Thank T&G for asking me and allowing me to be a part of your wedding day. A day for you to remember forever! From the bottom of my heart, what a blessingšŸ«¶šŸ»

Got a particularly busy few days coming up starting with a trip to Brentwood, Essex for the most fabulous couple.

Today's the big day for the gorgeous T&G and I for one am very excited! I cannot wait to share in this special moment with the two of you. What an honour it is to be asked to travel the distance just to help make your special day everything you want it to be and more. I'll see you both soonšŸ«¶šŸ»

In the meantime, here's a sneaky peek at the stunning venue for todayšŸ™ˆ
