The Brimfield Folk Club meets at Brimfield Village Hall, near Ludlow, Shropshire on the 1st Monday o Acts are prebooked and perform to a set running order.

Brimfield Folk Club meets on the 1st Monday of each month at 7.30pm. Please note it is not an open mike or sessions evening.

Thank you so much to all our performers and audience who braved the elements to attend our first folk club of 2025 tonight!
Particularly to Steve Clark, Nick and Jane, Big Bad John Barker and Martin Olyett for playing additional songs they weren't expecting to! That's the Elephant of Surprise!

Unfortunately the flu has taken its toll on our line up for this evening! Sadly Mice in a Matchbox and Kidd Raven are no longer able to play. Which leaves the door open to anyone that is available for a four song set tonight? Please message or call if you can play for us! TIA

This is going to be the biggest cracker you'll get this year! So pull hard, give it a good tug, and see what surprises pop out!
Wrap up warm, the heating will be on, there will be mince pies but the hottest thing will be the performers on stage!

Absolutely blown away after a phone call from Geoff Noble at Burton Folk Club offering to make a generous donation to us after the cancellation of the concert this week.
Amazing generosity and solidarity from one folk club to another. Fair brought a tear to my eye!
We reassured Geoff that our usual folk club attendance is sustainable, but so grateful for the support and encouragement.
So you'd better pop along to our December folk club, or I'm sending Geoff round!

Following the regrettable, but unavoidable, decision to cancel our concert in November tonight, there will still be a December Brimfield Folk Club.
Please do come along and support the volunteer performers that generusly offer their time and skill to support the club.
Please note that Roger Pugh is recovering from a finger injury that may prevent his appearance, although we wish him a speedy recovery and remain hopeful that he will be able to play.

LIVE MUSIC IN BROMYARD THIS FRIDAY | Folk in the Foyer: Grey Wolf 🎸

Grey Wolf is an acoustic Americana/old-time folk band from the Welsh Marches playing traditional instruments such as banjo, fiddle, guitar, dulcimer, mandolin and double bass alongside fine vocal and harmony singing.

The band has headlined several of the prestigious UK's Old Time American Music and Dance Festivals; has appeared on radio, at folk clubs, festivals, and music and literary venues throughout the UK.
