In 2024 We will launch our 'In their own words' walking tours of the Walled Garden for the first time. These hour long (approx) walks take place in and around the historic Capability Brown designed Walled Garden and tell the story of this site in the words of those whose lives have gone to make up part of its rich history. Tours will take place every Wednesday in March 2024.

The subjects can be as diverse as Kings to Convicts or who worked for Lute Bute in the 18th Century. Visitors enjoy tea/coffee and biscuits before the talks begin upstairs, here at the estate office. The talk lasts approximately an hour and a half although doors open at 10.30 for attendees to settle. These monthly tours can be pre booked or you can add your name to our waiting list and pay on the day. Its a brilliant way to spend a Friday morning that can be extended by lunch at the Woodyard Coffee Shop (hot and cold drinks, light lunches, snacks and cakes). That Friday sorted!
