I’m proud and excited to say that I’m taking part in the first ever National Florist Day on the 8th June.
This is an exciting time for all flower magicians to celebrate and share the magic of flowers and florists and all that goes into it.

I qualified as a florist last year.
I loved my time at college learning the theory and practical techniques of all aspects of floristy.
I completed 150 hours of work experience in a high street florist shop.
This gave me an everyday insight into what a day in the life of a florist is like.

I started Heart in Hand florist in 2023 and have been amazed and grateful for the support.

I am continually seeking to learn and gain more skills.
At this time I’m learning more about sustainable floristry practices and how to incorporate this into my bouquets, table arrangements, weddings and farewell flowers.

I do where possible source flowers from local growers.

Lastly…I recently had stamps made and have to say I’m over the moon with them.
They look so cute.
