I create naturally beautiful funeral flowers which aim to tread gently on our planet. Naturally styled funeral flowers are perfectly suited for green and woodland burials, nature lovers as well traditional funerals. Funeral flowers can be anything you want them to be from a posy of favourite flowers to an abundant spray - all that is important is for the flowers to have meaning and reflect the lif

e you are remembering. Starting with a conversation, rather than a catalogue, to inspire a truly bespoke, individual and meaningful arrangement. I can include favourite colours or pick flowers from a loved one's garden or some special element to incorporate within an arrangement to truly reflect the person whose life you are remembering. Each design is unique, but my guide gives you an idea of the different types of flower arrangements I offer and my natural, garden gathered style. I specialise in using British seasonal flowers and foliage, wherever possible. All designs use natural materials and methods making them eco friendly or fully biodegradable. I deliver the flowers personally to your specified undertaker so the flowers are guaranteed to arrive in the very best condition. If you live outside my delivery area, you are very welcome to collect your flowers from me. I am proud to be a member of Flowers from the Farm which promotes sustainable practices and organically grown British flowers.

Celebrating Winter Solstice with a wreath that is gathered and collected from everything this magical season has to offer. Our ancestors would have spent time gathering, curing, collecting and nesting and celebrated the season of rest and rejuvenation by spending time with family just as we do today.

A day of wild wreathing outside on my borrowed terrace overlooked by the cows up in the field, with frosty fingers and cups of tea going cold before I have time to finish. I am not going to last long out here.

A real delight to be invited to hold a wreath making session at Dorset House to meet lovely ladies, and create wild naturally styled wreaths whilst enjoying mulled wine, mince pies and my favourite Buble Christmas tunes. It was good to be making and creating in Lyme Regis.

My first wreath made in Dorset, inspired, gathered and foraged by all that surrounds me. Wild and free to reflect how I feel. I have created on a base of hay as I have no moss to hand, secured with twine and simply adorned with nature.

Hello flowery friends, I have been in Dorset for a month now and beginning to settle in to my new life. Normally at this time of year I’d be busy in my greenhouse making Christmas wreaths and having fun with workshops and it feels a bit strange not to be doing so this year. So old habits die hard and I really couldn’t let the season pass without creating so I’ve been foraging and gathering inspired by my new surroundings and with a little bit of improvisation I’ll be creating a natural wreath to hang on my Dorset door. I hope you are all well. Sending love to you all.

At the King’s request a totally sustainable wreath created on a bed of moss and nest of oak leaves with symbolic British flowers and foliage gathered from Royal Palaces. A beautifully fitting tribute.

Warren Wood Flowers

I am Gill, a floral designer based in Hayes by Warren Wood. Although only 4 miles outside Bromley, I am situated on the edge of ancient woodlands and common land close to fields and hedgerow.

My love of nature and the countryside is reflected in my work. I embrace all that is fleeting yet wonderful about our seasons and like to create arrangements which encapsulate the season in a wild, garden gathered look.

I am a sustainable floral designer and seek to use only British flowers and foliage wherever possible. It is important for me to know the provenance of the flowers I use. I avoid the use of floral foam seeking alternatives such as chicken wire, moss and floral frogs. My aim is to leave as little carbon footprint as I can.

My background in horticulture has influenced my approach to floral design and the way in which I love to add quirky elements which echo the natural wildness of the countryside.
