Not only a Florist but a Flower Grower too. These blooms make me so happy, knowing that I’ve grown them from seed. Honestly felt that I didn’t know what I was doing when I started earlier this year, but somehow it worked out and my babies are all blooming.

It’s really important to me that I’m working sustainably, not causing any harm to the planet, growing only what’s in season, feeding the bees and butterflies and not flying flowers across the world, just sowing, watering and looking after.

Not sure how I’ll feel once the flowers start to slow down in the autumn and winter, but if I can make this work I will be a happy women.

I’m working hard in the background on flowers beds to create my own flower farm that you can also enjoy.

A new experiment, 3 vases of flowers.

1) with just water which I will leave all week, no water change and no cutting flowers - the lazy florist.
2) with a tiny piece of a sterling tab to keep the water clean, water change daily and stems cut.
3) just water, changed daily and trim of stems.

I’ll report back at the end of the week! Would love to know what you do to make your flowers last longer, please tell me any tips!

I posted on two local Facebook groups today and the response has been amazing!

Life recently has been evening of collecting flowers from around the garden, finding pretty foliage and hours spent in the garage playing with arrangements and taking photos.

3 days at RHS Tatton, filled with ideas and words of wisdom and evenings of watching and on

I finally got round to sowing my biennials too, no idea if I’m too late or if what I’ve sown will produce enough but we all have to start somewhere don’t we.

Now we are finally having full days without rain, I can get back to the flower beds. So far I’ve made 9 x 18ft beds to fill with flowers that I will grow from seed. I’ve been so torn with conflicting advice on how to make the beds (no dig, chemicals, membrane, 1 space deep dig etc etc) but I’ve decided my path following my truth and I’m happy with it!
Starting a little flower farm in Great Budworth.

All the flowers in this bucket will be made into little bouquets which will be on sale tomorrow and Saturday at the gate - message me for details. Equally message me if you would like a bouquet made up specially.

I’ve been assisting a very lovely florist today with her exhibition at the RHS Flower Show at Tatton and it’s sooo exciting! I can’t say too much but her piece is beautiful! I will share more over the coming days.

I’ve been saving this one, like a favourite teapot, waiting for the right moment to use it! Anyway a bit like that teapot, here it is.

A beautiful array of purple. I think this would be stunning for a small intimate wedding dinner. Can you imagine holding a glass of fizz, flowers adoring the table with your most loved ones all around 🥰

Happy 1st July!

Here’s to another month filled with flowers, fun and sunshine!

Today I’m have bags of soil and wooden planks being delivered to create flower beds for next year….so it’s going to be a busy month of building for me! Anybody who fancies a bit of hard graft, lots of tea and cake and endless flowers let me know!

These arrangements are so easy to make - think structure, space for the bees and butterfly’s to fly around, colours that flow, chicken wire to hold stems in place, water and there you have it! Summer in a jar 🤩

Lisa will guide you through yoga postures that are calming, releasing and restorative whilst Aimee will create a beautiful sound bath using crystal and tibetan bowls, gongs, elemental flow chimes and other healing sound instruments.

What a gorgeous week I’ve had with one of my favourite people ever.

A week of daily yoga classes, cocktails and big breakfasts!

Right now I’m taking a pause from the routine of teaching weekly and focusing on pop up classes between Lymm and Wales.

This Wednesday 21st September, I’ll be teaching 2 classes in Lymm.

Vinyasa flow at 7pm and Yin Yoga at 8.15pm.
Tea, biscuits and optional natter afterwards.

I haven’t posted for ages, it’s felt really nice to take something off my to do list but also had lots of times I’m missed it. Especially today as I’m in London and just wanted to share that.

How are you?

I’m good, I’ve had a busy full on few months!

I’m here in London supporting Gareth and supporting the Better Business Act - which is just a small change in law to make businesses be more responsible and take into account their actions and how this impacts society and the environment.

So today I’ve been at the Houses of Parliament. It was fun, out of my comfort zone but that’s needed sometimes and as Mary Portas] said (she’s one of the leaders of this campaign) speak from the heart.

I’ve been up to sooooo much and I’ve got more to share with you…. And I will. But rather than make this a looooonnggg post, I’ll end it here and post again soon!

Haven’t posted for what feels like ages!!

How are you all doing?

I’ve just got back from a weekend in Wales.

And it was gorgeous!

How beautiful is this sunset?! Walking along the beach around 5pm, there were families, people sipping tea from a flask, people collecting rubbish, dogs running around, the waves lapping up, Me, Gareth and Barley.

It was wonderful! The sea just has a way of making you feel so at home doesn’t it?

Hi lovelies!

I’ve been thinking about this for a while and have made a decision to step away from social media. And this decision for me feels fabulous!

I spend far too much time scrolling.

Over Christmas I had a social media break and felt more energised, less dependent and freer. I read more, played more, had more time for the people I love and for my own pleasures.

I’ve always felt ‘I need social media for my business’ but I’ve decided for my well-being I don’t need it.

We are all different and I know some people thrive on social media but for me right now It doesn’t feel right.

So it’s not a break, not a good bye but just, I won’t be on here daily. I will still be checking in and posting about new events. Just not as often.

Yoga Beginner 4 Week Course

14th February - 7th March

7pm - 8pm

The benefits of yoga are numerous and well reported. From maintaining fitness, reducing stress, sleeping better, boosting your immune system, healing pain, changing body shape, improving balance, increasing flexibility and so on. Essentially, staying healthy and strong.

Starting on Monday 14th February will have the opportunity to join an in-person yoga beginners course to work through simple sequences and break down some of the most common postures that are practised in yoga classes.

This course is suitable for beginners but also very beneficial for those returning to yoga and anyone who would like to go back to basics to build your confidence in a yoga class.

Aside from the postures we will cover other key aspects of yoga including mindfulness, breathing, meditation and intention.

Class sizes will be limited and bookings will be taken on a first come first served basis.

Course Fee £50 includes 4 week course, handouts to keep to support you on your yoga journey.

Location: Lymm Village

Yoga mats available to borrow for the duration of the course.
