We can’t hold our excitement much longer… get ready for the date of Mablethorpe Pride weekend & in 2024 our Pride Saturday STAGE (hint hint) will have a theme!

On behalf of everyone here at Mablethorpe Pride we would like to say thankyou for what was an amazing weekend.
There are many people to thank, everyone who supported and raised money during the run up the venues that hosted the Pride Tour and held their own independent acts.
The mini street fare managed to raise lots of money for local charities and boost sales on the high street.
Matt and our own entertainment team who overcame so many problems on the day to deliver what we feel was a great show full of love and smiles whilst still promoting the true reason why events like this are needed!
We know this year was different so please if you haven’t got anything nice or constructive to add to the up comming conversations regarding next year then please respectfully keep them to yourself.
We did make one boo boo which was we didn’t manage to tell the Pride Tour wjo had won the window dressing competition!! And so it was never announced and out pride gnome trophy was never presented so we think that deserves its own post!
If you want to get involved with next years planning or on the day or have an idea for fundraising please reach out to us. This is a community event and without your support it can’t exist.
Once again thankyou to everyone for coming and next year (fingers crossed) we will be back where we belong!! On the high street !!!

Before we kick off a day of celebration we just want to take a moment to remember the reason Pride is still relevant :-
To be lgbtq in 70 countries in this world IS STILL ILLEGAL
11 countries CARRY THE DEATH PENALTY!
This is the reality of being part of our community in this world.
Closer to home we want to acknowledge that that our area has its issues with both homophobia and alack of representation and support for those both out and closeted.
To those unseen people .. you are not alone, please never give up hope as this world deserves you to be part of it.
That being said thankyou for your support and have an amazing Mablethorpe Pride!

Mablethorpe Prides big day is on Saturday the 24th June and takes place between 11am - 5 pm with venues hosting entertainment in the evening.

It has been a massive journey to make sure that mablethorpe still has this amazing day in whichever way we could. This year will be different but still has the same heart and soul as last year.
