Spring tulip bouquet

Hellebores, anemones, ferns and tulips in this lovely spring bouquet. The tulips are individually wired to make sure they last the day and stay perky. A labour of love, but worth it!

Peak District Weddings

I might be biased living on the edge of the Peak District, but this national park provides setting for a wedding in northern England. Surrounded by nature and dramatic views, this part of the world has a lot to offer. And did you know that the area has had light pollution restricted which provides dark skies for stargazing on clear nights. So here's my top picks...

, Chesterfield. A lovingly restored country house with lots of character a beautiful garden room for ceremonies.

, at The Tawny, Ashbourne. Nestled in the Basford Estate, the valley contains many surprises from the walled garden to the many follys and woodland nooks. There's also amazing woodland huts and lakeside treehouses to relax and start your honeymoon.

, Ashbourne. Experience outstanding service on the Trusley Estate with a characterful ceremony barn and spacious courtyard. The team's service and attention to detail will blow you away.

, Tideswell. A intimate venue perfect for foodies, with its award winning restaurant.

The Riding School, Ticknall by . An elegant venue with a trendy reception space, with on-site chapel and glasshouse.

, New Mills. A former cotton mill on the banks of the river Goyt, this industrial backdrop is a very cool setting for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies.

, Ashbourne. 17th century mansion meets relaxed sophistication. My favourite spot for pictures has to be the stunning rose garden.

, High Peak. This distinctive 15th century medieval estate nestled in 30 acres of woodland, provides a historic backdrop for ceremonies.

, at Callow Hall, Ashbourne. An elegant victorian country house where you can spend your wedding night in a wild hive treehouses in the ancient woodland.

Hilltop Country House

Nestled in picturesque countryside, Hilltop Country House is one of my favourite venues. I love working with couples who choose Hilltop, designing florals to complement the natural surroundings and breathtaking views.

There's some other amazing reasons to look at Hilltop as well...

1. The wonderful team. Always a delight to work with, down to earth and ready to go above and beyond.
2. Exclusive use. With only one wedding per day, couples have the entire venue to themselves.
3. Versatile spaces. Whether you prefer a garden ceremony surrounded by blooms or an intimate indoor celebration, Hilltop has options for everyone.
4. Breathtaking gardens. As a flower farmer I might be biased, but a venue with stunning gardens and vibrant flowers, provide a dreamlike setting for your ceremony and photographs.

Seasonal Florals Package - For 2025 and 2026.

I have worked with Hilltop to provide a seasonal florals package. At only 4 miles from the flower farm, Hilltop allows couples to use local seasonal flowers that complement the quintessential natural cottage vibe.

Top tips on wedding florals for newly engaged couples

Congratulations on your engagement! Planning your wedding is an exciting. Here’s my top tips to get you started and for more info head over to the website to read the full blog. You can also book a no-obligation consultation me through the "book" button on insta or through the website to chat over ideas.

1. Decide what’s important to you
I know from first-hand experience, that when you first get engaged, everyone seems to pop up with ideas and thoughts of their own. Weddings don’t have to be a certain way.The most important tip I give every couple is to focus on what’s important to you.

2. Explore your vision
Before diving into specifics, take some time to envision your wedding day. Your vision will help guide your choices and give you a starting point for the flowers.

3. Get some inspiration
It can be difficult to know where to start. So, take your time and have a google and see what images and ideas jump out at you. A small word of caution, is that not everything online is as it seems - remember to be realistic, there’s always ways to turn your inspiration into ideas for your big day.

4. Set your budget
Flowers can add a truly special accent to your day. It’s ok to realistic about your budget and where you want to focus it.

5. Trust your florist’s expertise
Your florist is your partner in bringing your floral vision to life. Be open to their suggestions as they have experience and ideas to make the most of the season and capture your style.

All weddings are lovely, and the most important thing is that you are happy with all your plans and have fun x

The bouquet.

One of the most photographed and looked at florals on the day. So here's some top tips to make sure you make the most of it. Checkout the full blog on the website - link in highlights for more info.

- Hold your flowers at the top of the stem. Find the knot at the front, so you know which way is forward.

- Keep them close to your body at waist height so they don’t obscure your dress.

- Tilt the flowers forward so that you show off the flowers rather than the side of the stems.

- Get someone to remind you to turn your bouquet so the flowers face forwards for photos (bridesmaids, groom, photographer).

- Cascading bouquets need to be held slightly differently, make sure the stems are parallel with the ground, and they are at the right angle for the trail to naturally cascade downwards.
