Hi👋
for those that haven’t yet had the pleasure! 😂
I’m Georgina (AKA George) owner of George in the Jungle 🌵a florist and plant shop.

I am mum to two grown up sons and Wife to a landscape gardener! We’re a bit green fingered in our home 😆

my mother introduced me to floristry at a young age having started herself aged 15 on Crewe market so you could say we have a few years experience between us!
We run George in the Jungle Together ❤️

I love to talk! 😂 if you know me you know this as you struggle to get away. I think I was always supposed to be in a customer facing roll so I could spend my days waffling. I love meeting new people and have met some wonderful humans since opening, Many of whom I now class as friends ❤️

In my spare time I love going on walks, music and crafting.

My favourite flowers are tulips (especially the parrot variety)

I chose Macclesfield to open the shop because It’s full of amazing people, a great selection of Indy Shops, and plenty of places to eat! (another of my favourite things to Do😄) I absolutely love the vibe!

Our flowers are delivered on Bicycles! We teamed up with local business a concept we love!
flowers delivered eco consciously and it’s also a little bit fun isn’t it?!

Saturday 3rd AUGUST (11am-12pm).
Friend of the show, and one of my favourite local stockists Loola Loves is having a GRAND OPENING of her new shop which is just two doors down from her current one. More room for more awesome cards, gifts and art!
I’ll be there from 11am for a drop-in COMIX OUTLOUD! I’ll be reading strips from inside the new GOOF comic that you can also buy on the day, and I’ll sketch and sign them too!
Hang out all day and into the evening for a great day and another fantastic celebration of Macclesfield’s awesome indie scene!
