I thought it was about time I re-introduced myself on here……

So, hello & welcome to my crazy wedding world! 👋🏼

I’ve had a lot of new followers over the last couple of months, so I thought it was about time I reintroduced myself!

I’m Joella Amber, owner of Seraphina. Based in Cheshire, covering UK & destination weddings.

I have worked in & loved everything about the wedding & events industry from a very young age, working in the industry for over 15+ years now.

I honestly love everything about creating a wedding. There isn’t one moment where I get or feel stressed, because there is nothing more exciting & fun than creating the most magical day for two people! But…I do understand that this isn’t the same for everyone. And as one of my couples you will never have to feel stressed only ever excited about your big day!

When I am not planning a wedding you will either find me in a coffee shop, or walking our two absolutely bonkers labradors in the middle of the countryside somewhere.

Spring floral details🌸🌿

Spring is usually all bright and warm.

And lately the weather hasn’t been giving out those warm vibes, but it doesn’t mean your wedding won’t.

So if you’ve seen the weather forecast for your wedding and it’s predicted rain or snow, don’t panic!

Here’s 5 top tips that can help:

1. If you’re planning to have an outdoor ceremony, have a plan B. Talk to your venue and suppliers to create an indoor ceremony plan that you love and that will give you the spring feel you are wanting. But most importantly trust what they are saying, because I promise you they have your best interest at heart.

2. Use the rain for photos. Use props like umbrellas, lean into the mood and if in doubt, have an open conversation with your photographer on what kind of photos you can take on the day.

3. Think about your guests…….If your venue is in the middle of land, in a field, a marquee or tipi make sure you plan ahead. Not just for you but for your guests. If it’s given out a lot of rain on the lead up and on the day of your wedding, think about their journey to your venue. Think about the possibility of mud, how your guests are getting into the venue. Have options for them like being able wear wellies from cars to the venue. After all you don’t want heels to be ruined! If you are providing transport for them ask your transport provider what action they will take if it rains. Some may provide umbrellas and have a plan B already in place.

4. Provide coat rails. Speak to your venue about where these can be placed, because what you don’t want is guests to put them on the back of their chairs, the coats or blazers to be dripping wet and ruin not just your decor but all your photos.

5. Embrace the weather and remember that rain on your wedding day is actually a sign of good luck.

I’m Joella Amber, owner of Seraphina. I’m a wedding planner, coordinator & content creator based in Cheshire, covering the UK & destination weddings.

I have worked in & loved everything about the wedding & events industry from a very young age, working in the industry for over 15+ years now.

I honestly love everything about creating a wedding. There isn’t one moment where I get or feel stressed, because there is nothing more exciting & fun than creating the most magical day for two people! But…I do understand that this isn’t the same for everyone. And as one of my couples you will never have to feel stressed only ever excited about your big day!

So what you’re really here for some fun facts about me…..

✨ I absolutely LOVE coffee. Like seriously obsessed with coffee and a sucker for a nice coffee shop.
✨I’m coeliac - which is the biggest pain ever when you just love everything about food! (And an ironic moment when your last name is Warburton 😅)
✨We have two labradors; Winston who is 2 & Darcy who is nearly 12.
✨I come from a very big football family. However, I enjoy & prefer ruby more than football. (This is definitely JTs fault🫣).
✨My go to food is a good old jacket spud 😂.
✨My favourite time of the year is spring. (When it’s sunny of course) It’s not too hot & it’s not too cold, it’s just perfect!

So, that’s enough about me. I think it’s safe to say when I am not planning a wedding you will either find me in a coffee shop, or walking our two absolutely bonkers labradors in the middle of the countryside somewhere.
