This year is our 250th Anniversary. We start the year with a Book Festival, taking place each weekend in February, 11am to 4pm. We have visiting book shops, authors, poets, musicians.

We were going to take the rest of the trees down tonight, but due to the weather we are going to postpone.

Christ Church is open 11 to 2pm on 3rd January to take decorations down. Also Tuesday 7th 5.45 to 7pm. Thank you to all the wonderful contributors to the Christmas Tree Festival, and all the visitors. Our next event is our Book Festival, taking place each weekend in February, with visiting book shops, local authors, performances and artisan crafts.

Looking Christmassy. Tonight, Sunday 15th December we are rocking the roof, with Chordiality Choir. Pop on some warm clothes and come down for 6.30 to grab your pew. It is free, it is festive and it is going to be fabulous.

This Sunday, 15th December we are proud to be host to the fabulous Chordiality Choir. Performance will run from 6.40 to 7.30, with hot drinks and cake available. Macclesfield Town Council are supporting this event, by providing toilet facilities. This is a free event, get festive, have fun, sparkles guaranteed.

The weather is frightful, but the Christmas trees are all lit up, it is cold but dry inside Christ Church. We have Christmas crafts for children, brews and cakes, our magnificent book shop and lots of sparkle, we open at 3pm. The church organ is scheduled to be played at 5.30 for an hour, if it is cancelled due to weather we will repost.

A big thanks to Tim Roca for opening the Macclesfield Christmas Tree Festival at Christ Church. A big thank you to Macclesfield Recorder Group for a beautiful performance. This Saturday at 5pm we have an hour of organ music , a chance to hear our restored Church Organ in action.

We open at 1pm on Sunday, then we have the beautiful sounds of Macclesfield recorder group, amazing with the acoustics of Christ Church.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. 20 trees decorated. We open on Sunday at 1pm, with Macclesfield Recorder Group performing at 2pm, if you have never been to a concert here, wrap up warm, use the loo before you get here, and enjoy the amazing acoustics. Trees do not have to be done by the first, so if you fancy decorating one just pop in on Sunday to choose your tree. All tree festival events are free, donations welcome.

Christ Church is still open today. Trees are ready and waiting, cakes are baked, books are filling the shelves, 11 till 3pm.

We are open Treacle Market Sunday, trees are ready to decorate, and families are welcome to decorate as well as businesses and charities. 11 till 3pm. Our books and brews also available.

The Macclesfield Christmas tree festival opens on the 1st December. Any charity or business can decorate a tree, trees are provided, contact us via our website, Christ Church Macc CCM to book in and arrange to decorate your tree.

We are open Saturday and Sunday, 11 till 3pm. We have our bookshop, brews and cakes, and lots of information in our Remembrance displays. After this weekend we will be setting up for the December Christmas tree festival.
