“Myself and my wife were so delighted with our wedding day at Hilltop.

Clare and her team were kind, welcoming and professional to a fault; we felt she genuinely cared about us as a couple, not just as customers. They were really accommodating of some of our more unusual (!) Requests; setting up a play area for the child guests, our sweet jar centre pieces for pick and mixing during the ceremony, our street food buffet and our ceiliadh band.

The grounds were beautiful and all our guests enjoyed wondering through them and particularly the children being able to blow off energy! As a le***an couple we felt respected and treated as an equal at all times, which was sadly not always our experience when touring other venues. They suited our relaxed, informal vibe very well and all guests were full of praise for the bar staff servers, delicious pizzas and wonderful spring pimms. Thank you!”

“We celebrated our wedding at Hilltop Country House back in April and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue. From the very beginning, all the way through to our magical day, everyone was incredibly accommodating and nothing was ever too much trouble.

From the moment we arrived on the day of our first viewing, we were enchanted by the beautiful surroundings. The setting is truly picturesque, with stunning gardens and serene countryside views that provided a breathtaking backdrop for our special day. The attention to detail in both the indoor and outdoor spaces is impeccable, making every corner of the venue a potential spot for memorable photos. The staff at Hilltop Country House were phenomenal. They went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly and that our needs were met. Upon my arrival the morning of the wedding, I was surprised at how instantly relaxed I felt and knew that everything would come together. Their dedication and professionalism were evident from the planning stages right through to the end of our wedding day. No request was too big or small; they were always there with a smile, ready to assist.

The food was a massive highlight with many of our guests commenting on the quality of the Michelin star food and how delicious and beautifully presented the dishes were. Even having our very own his and her cocktails created especially for our day was a truly special touch. The catering team did an outstanding job, ensuring everyone was well-fed and happy. Overall, Hilltop Country House provided an unforgettable experience, combining elegance, charm, and exceptional service.

Aww today I was thrilled to learn i’ve been booked by Carys and Teddy for their wedding at one of the most beautiful venues I know 🤍
This is one of those weddings that you really cannot wait to get your teeth sunk into and create for, when I met this lovely couple last week, I was super excited at their ideas and their passion for their multicultural background to be represented in their flowers. 🤍

After a fairly quieter year, 2025 is looking like a fabulous year for weddings 😊💐🤍

Iain has been our head chef for nearly 10 years with his extensive wedding experience and caring nature offered to all couples, Iain is your go to discuss and deliver your perfect wedding breakfast menu.

You all probably recognise Paul… Paul is a two-time winner of the coveted Michelin star, is an accomplished author and has been on your screens many times! He has all the skills and knowledge for a 5 star menu.

Simon has recently joined the Hilltop family. Simon found his love for cooking during lockdown when him and his wife opened a meal prep business delivering meals nationwide. He has a creative mindset, loves a challenge and is super excited about his future working with Iain and Paul in the Hilltop kitchen.

If you look very carefully this amazing piece incorporates some very special elements to Hilltop… the core flowers you’ll see in our gardens, Penny the cat, two doves kissing of course and a horse shoe placed on the gate to symbolise that Hilltop was once a small holding 💙

When Sarah from Courthouse Collective approached us, we couldn’t say no as Sarah married with us 12 years ago now! You’ll see her wedding photo here, much has changed but the Hilltop gardens remain just as beautiful. Sarah now also has a daughter called Penny!

It is just incredible to see a not only a local supplier, but a Hilltop supplier on TV! A big congratulations to The Random Apple Company, you truly deserve it ❤️ Sarah works her magic on Hilltop’s orchard to ensure we have the best apples for Hilltop apple juice. Introducing our latest gadget… The Guinness Microdraught 🍺 Giving you the perfect pint 🍀

A night full of love and local people coming together to put on great evening for a special cause ❤️ On Saturday, we had the honour of hosting a fundraiser event for East Cheshire Hospice. 160 guests attended the event, raising £15,494 for the charity! Jason Walker who approached us about the event wanted to raise as much money as possible for East Cheshire Hospice in memory of his mum. Plenty of local businesses sponsored the event including Hunters Gin, JLeaf Windows, Doors & More, MKP Developments Ltd, Platinum Financial Services Ltd and Higgins Miller Solicitors. We donated the venue, our catering services, drinks, and a huge proportion of our bar profits. After our recent social media post asking for a local photographer to capture the event, the response was overwhelming with suppliers all willing to give their time free of charge. As a result of this, photographer David Murch and videographer Lana Johnson Video Production captured the evening. Helen from Taylor Made Blooms florist also kindly donated gorgeous fresh flowers to decorate the venue as well as a bouquet raffle prize. The evening was a huge success and plenty of fun for everyone. Every guest brought a bottle for the raffle. It started with a glass of prosecco and a game of heads and tails. Followed by a delicious 3-course meal cooked by the Hilltop kitchen team, finishing with bongo bingo, an auction, raffle, and a cheese board for everyone to share! Two bands, Living on iO and North Room entertained the guests in our nightclub. Thank you so much to David for the amazing photos and to Lana for this incredible video 📸
