We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team part time.

Maria Modes is not your average wedding dress boutique. We’re an award winning wedding department store located just south of Manchester in the historic town of Macclesfield.

Unlike a lot of other boutiques we’re set over three floors and offer all aspects of Bridalwear; Bridal, Bridesmaids, Menswear and Mother of the Bride/Groom.

The perfect candidate must be proactive, willing to learn and have a keen interest in fashion and the wedding industry, not to mention an amazing eye for detail. No previous experience necessary but please provide details of any transferable skills.

ROLE

You will be trained in every department of the business but most importantly you will be responsible for making a Brides dream come true with the perfect wedding dress, as well as helping Grooms find the ideal outfit, and Bridesmaids their dresses too.

Building customer relationships is a key aspect of the role but there is also a lot more such as quality control, ordering customer items, social media content creation and showroom presentation. You must enjoy a challenge, be proactive and like change, as no two days are the same.

GENERAL

Ideal hours are 3 days a week:

Thursday 1-8pm;

Friday 10-4pm; and

Saturday 9-5pm (with Saturdays being non-negotiable)

Hourly wage is dependent on experience but should you have no prior experience in the bridal sector starting salary will be £11.50 with a pay rise within 6 months once you have successfully completed your training and are a fully fledged member of the team.

You’ll be joining an experienced team of 6. We pride ourselves on a fun, friendly and relaxed atmosphere for our customers and working for us is no different!

Start date is as soon as possible, subject to any notice period the successful candidate has.

Introducing our DRESS CLEANING & PRESERVATION service!

We are delighted to announce that we can now help you with your wedding dress not just right up to your big day, but afterwards as well! 🤍

Our brand new dress cleaning and preservation service also includes any additional accessories like jackets, capes, overskirts and veils too.

The cleaning and preservation of your wedding dress are crucial steps to ensure your gown remains a cherished keepsake for years to come.

Once your big day is over, all you need to do is bring back your dress (and accessories) to us in store and we’ll take care of the rest, it really is as simple as that!

Prices start from £210 and vary slightly depending on the size and style of your dress. Turnaround time on average it will be approximately 6 weeks before your dress is ready but we can expedite your dress if needed sooner.

Once cleaned your dress will be packaged back into your complimentary Maria Modes Wedding Dress Bag, or if you would like us to preserve it for you in a box we can also do this too. Either provide us with the box you would like it packing into, or we have a range of boxes available for purchase in store.
