Plant of the month Helleborus.
These beautiful somewhat shy nodding flowers are a reminder of what is to come as we start to already look foward to the longer days and the spring flowers. From deep purples, white, to pale pinks, or charming speckled flowers the Hellebore is one of my favorites. They have glossy attractive foliage and do best in a shady spot, you can also look foward to them coming back year after year. What’s not to like.
Frostkiss ‘Glenda’s gloss’ has particularly beautiful foliage with a soft pink flower.
Whereas strawberry moon has a lovely large rich pink coloured flower.

Also on the nursery this month our seed potatoes have arrived, some including peatland javelin, lady christl, rocket, red duke of York, Charlotte, maris peer, wilja, cara, desiree, king Edward, maris piper, valor and many more.

The predicted cold weather has well and truly arrived ⛄️ ❄️ however we still have lots going on!

Field grown bear root fruit trees, ornamental trees and hedging has now arrived. Including pear trees, apple trees, cherry trees, cherry blossom trees, native hedging, copper beach hedging, roses and lots more.

Dahlia tubers, begonias and other spring flowering bulbs have just arrived and we are currently unpacking them.
Also looking forward to our seed potatoes arriving next week too.

A very merry Christmas to all of our customers, we would like to thank you all for your continued support. Not long until Christmas now and we are looking foward to a well earned break. We are open until early afternoon on Christmas Eve and will reopen
