The Lurach Centre "Working together to serve the needs of all people in this community". The Lurach Centre is run by the Maghera Parish Caring Association.

The Lurach Centre is a community space in Maghera which caters for the whole community of the town and surrounding area with programmes and events for everyone from tots to seniors.

From 3pm to 5pm in Maghera Walled Garden, you can meet Santa in the Potting Shed and be entertained as you stroll around the garden. Activities will include musical performances, Carnival games, Jump, Jingle and Jive and a variety of Christmas Characters. Free tickets must be booked for this experience and will be available via our Eventbrite page on Monday 18 November.

Why not get crafty at The Lurach Centre with your family where you can design your own Christmas cards, Christmas crackers and Christmas crowns. Or visit the Library to meet Mrs Claus who will share some of her favourite Christmas stories and help children write their letter to Santa and post it in Santa's Postbox.

For the town centre Christmas Lights Switch On, Santa will leave from Fairhill carpark at 5.30pm to make his way to Hall Street for the Switch-On event taking place at the St. Lurach's Road junction. The Christmas lights will be switched on at approximately 5.45pm. ๐ŸŽ„
