A fantastic menu choice today for a celebration of life. Hot food included Scouse with crusty bread, beetroot and red cabbage along with a Chinese chicken curry and rice. Selection of cold items and some delicious cakes including homemade scones.

Hi everyone - just a heads up regarding our normal Xmas dessert delivery on Xmas Eve. We are away and only return on Xmas Eve so we will not be able to provide the lovely cakes this year. Sorry :(

Loved doing the hard work for a special Dad's 80th celebrations. Bespoke menu including our homemade sausage rolls - homemade scones with clotted cream jam and butter - meat and cheeseboard platters and many other selections.

19th March is Mothers Day - not sure what to get ? We have our beautiful Afternoon Tea's available to deliver locally free of charge (or collection) We have limited availability on a tiered cake stand which we collect over the following days, they come gift wrapped and include a personalised message - or we can provide in a gift box. Back by popular demand - we are pleased to advise our Xmas desserts will be available for free local delivery on Xmas Eve. We can deliver to the Maghull/Lydiate/Melling/Aintree area free of charge or alternatively collection can be made from our kitchen. All desserts are made fresh on the day They portion out at 14 pieces (with the exception of the Apple Pies at eight portions). Seven years ago today myself and Nickie opened Scrummies cafe in Maghull. Since then we have changed our company solely to catering Scrummies Catering, got married, had an addition to our family and made 17,000 scones!

We have always been a small fish in a very big pond, which means that all our customers have felt like family. Over the past 7 years we have been through highs and lows with lots of people from funerals to weddings, from christenings to birthday party’s.

COVID has hit everybody hard over the past 18 months, we are so lucky to even have a house over our heads and our loved ones still here, but with being self employed we weren’t sure if we were still going to have a business after all of this.

So from myself and Nickie, we have a massive thank you for all of our continued customers and amazing community for keeping us going! (Plus little Jacob as well)

Cheers to 7 years and here’s to 7 more!

This was both fun and hard work looking after a lovely customer. Spanish themed gathering. Included a Chicken and Chorizo Paella, Canarian Potatoes, Paprika marinated ribs, Tortilla Slices, Mediterranean Canapes, Bruschetta topped with olive oil, mozzarella and basil and many other lovely selections.
