Today is the inaugural National Florist Day!

It’s been a busy week creating floral designs for the derby at this weekend! We filled this lovely marquee with beautiful peach and apricot tones, and created a fabulous horse showpiece!

Oxalis triangularis, commonly known as false shamrock, is a species of perennial plant in the family Oxalidaceae. It’s one of our most popular houseplants here in the glasshouse due to its gorgeous purple foliage and pretty summer flowers. It’s easy to care for and can even be grown outside in light shade.

They always sell out very quickly, so get yourself down to the glasshouse for one of these beauties asap! 💜

Seize the opportunity to learn the art of creating your own Christmas Pudding under our chef instructor, Michael Nizzero. You will then enjoy an apéritif and canapés, followed by a fascinating kitchen tour viewing at first hand our busy chefs at work. The inspiration continues, with a chance to indulge in a delicious light lunch with a glass of wine served in the main restaurant. Relax and watch the river flow by! In the afternoon, you will return to the Culinary School to meet Kate Thomas, Master florist and Gold Medal winner at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2019. She will share her incredible knowledge and assist you in the making of a unique 24-inch wreath using the traditional method of wet moss with the choice of 3 designs (traditional classic, winter wonderland and ultra-natural organic). Priced at £690.00 per person.
