Please nominate Harmony Maidstone for this grant 💰, their name with the charity commission is Harmony Variety Clubs Limited, it will come up when you type it in the box! They are an ARTS charity 🎭

It could make all the difference to them as they are on the brink of closing due to lack of funds!!! 😭

Today gorgeous people, it has to be done today as it closes in 10 hours!! It takes one minute, about four clicks, and it's done, so now is good! 😉

Thanks in advance for supporting them! 💜🧡 They do great work supporting young creatives in our town, especially those with neurodiversity and mental health, to become more confident and feel accepted!

Currently looking for a compare for the Maytime Medley - a collaboration project between Harmony Maidstone Kent Arts and Wellbeing Kent Art Collective - Creative Community & Local Art Classes and Maidstone Borough Council The event is on Saturday 18th May from 2pm to 6pm.
Its a very exciting project supporting creative individuals and groups around our town.
Do you like to host, get up on stage and celebrate local creatives.

After a successful year of connecting local creatives, we're excited to host you at our new venue, the Royal Star Arcade in Maidstone.

There'll be plenty of creative people to have a chat with NEXT Thursday 18th April in the Royal Star Arcade from 7.30pm, as the MAG Mega Meet Up takes over the space!

As a small grassroots group we've already helped creatives in our town make connections for new and exciting projects, here's what Matt Stridgen said about MAG:

"Through MAG I was asked to be on the photography crew for this year's Maidstone Fringe Festival and photographed some 30 acts across 15 venues over 5 days. I’d recommend anyone who has an interest in the arts, music and performance to join MAG, see who you can connect with and build a relationship that can lead to a creative collaboration."

After a year of successful events, join us next Thursday 18th April for our biggest creative networker yet!
A new venue for MAG - The beautiful and historic Royal Star Arcade, Maidstone. Starting at 7.30pm and wrapping up at 10.30pm.

We'll be transforming the former health food shop into a small living room style performance space showcasing local music, poetry, film screenings and improv.

Meanwhile the essential networking continues in the main covered central space, to a backdrop of performance art and dance by way of floor and aerial hoop. There'll be plenty of creative people to have a chat with. We've already seen some exciting collaborations come from our networkers, one of which will be performing live on Thursday, here's what Junior Moore said about MAG:

"I had taken a long break from working and when I started back I felt extremely anxious and knew very few current musicians. I attended the MAG Mash Up and got to meet and play with the most wonderful bass player. We got talking and we liked each other's style. We’ve since played many gigs together and written new songs. This couldn't have happened without MAG, it's a warm and friendly, creative environment that has been great for networking and making art."

One of our friends, Harmony Maidstone, is running a variety show in Whatman Park - Mayday Medley - Saturday 18th May 2pm-6pm.

We are holding a small market of artisan makers in and around Maidstone. Pitches are limited and will cost just £10 each. We expect there to be upwards of 400 people on the day and it will be a free event for local people.

If you create something to sell, or you know someone who does and you wanna come and support the Maidstone creative sector and let them support you too, please get in touch :)

PLI and experience trading in the open air is essential.

DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED!!!!!!!!!

Loads of creative fun to be had in the town centre today!!

For the first time in years an Arts Parade will march through the town centre from the High Street along Week Street and into Brenchley Gardens.

Hundreds of people from schools, community groups and creative projects will carry creatures from the theme 'Wild About Maidstone' through the town. Accompanied by samba bands and dancers and led by the gorgeous Fire Bird, fresh back from Glastonbury.

An event not to be missed!! Sets off at 2pm!!

Starting this weekend! Hosted by our very own Clive Austen .co.uk and Kent Arts and Wellbeing in collab with Maidstone Borough Council. Many of our MAG members are performing so come and support the crew and the event organisers and enjoy a free gig in the park :D

We are delighted, no, *BURSTING* with pride and anticipation to be presenting this upcoming run of FREE concerts and performances at Brenchley Bandstand in collaboration with .co.uk and Maidstone Borough Council!!!!!! It deserves that many exclamation marks as it's VERY exciting!

Expect a feast for the ears as you experience the finest of our local classical, ensemble, rock, pop, choirs, orchestras and instrumentalists. Individual event details and more about some of the acts we have lined up for you coming soon....

****SAVE THE DATE - THURSDAY 13 JULY!!!!****

Hi lovely MAG members! We're back with yet another successful networking event on Thursday 13 July, at Studio 6, Rocky Hill, Maidstone...starting at 7:30 PM. It's FREE ENTRY with a fully licensed bar.

As usual, we've got some absolutely stunning local musicians performing, along with art works and videos crafted by artists from across the County Town, and beyond.

These events are a rare opportunity to bring together artists from right across the artistic spectrum...from music to dance, from fine arts to crafts, and so much more.

MAG was set up specifically to unite ALL CREATIVES from in and around Maidstone, so make sure you don't miss this wonderful opportunity, to meet and chat with like-minded creatives!

But even if you don't consider yourself to be an 'artist' per se. you will be MOST WELCOME to come along and enjoy the music and meet some awesome local artists!
