Zest are looking for an enthusiastic commis chef who can join our team in the kitchen at our award winning wedding venue In Upchurch, Kent.

The position would suit a person who wants to increase their experience of different styles of preparing and cooking dishes and must have some kitchen experience all though a college leaver would be considered, also a food hygiene certificate would be an advantage.

Also seasonal waiting staff required, must be smart, presentable and willing to work unsociable hours.

Congratulations to Mr And Mrs Ben Stagg who tied the Knot at Kent Life on the 11th May.They enjoyed all the facilities that Kent Life have to offer including piglet racing.Their wedding Breakfast consisted of:
Deep-fried Kentish Goat Cheese topped with onion marmalade
Followed by Refreshing Raspberry Sorbet to refresh the pallet
For mains -Roast Loin of Pork with Cider Sauce and crispy crackling
And for Dessert -Zesty Lemon Tart with red currents and raspberry drizzle
Also not forgetting another wedding going on at the same time at
The Beautiful Rochester and Cobham Golf Club for 90
Well done To David Elsey and the rest of the catering team there, The Brides father commented -quote "You done us proud, fantastic"
Then on Sunday the 12th We had the West Kent Freemasons Lunch at the corn Exchange for 90
Their menu consisted off - A prawn & Apple Salad
Confit of Duck with black cherries
Followed by the old classic Eton mess.
Thanks to all our Loyal hardworking staff who made this a very successful weekend again.
