Today we say goodbye to Tanith, who has been a valued part of the team at The Orchard for the past five years. Her passion for weddings and love for the venue has been truly infectious, and she’s brought so much energy and warmth to everything she’s done.

While we’re incredibly sad to see her go, we’re also excited for her as she begins her next adventure—this time a little closer to home - but we are sure to see her travelling the world again soon!

When choosing your photographer, it’s always worth asking if they’ve worked at The Orchard before. If they haven’t, you’re very welcome to visit the venue with them ahead of your day to help them get familiar with the space.

Just take a look at this setup on our Water Terrace. On this day, we cleverly repurposed their table centrepieces for the aisle—a great tip for keeping your budget in check. A vibrant, flower-filled aisle is definitely worth considering if you’re planning a summer wedding.

Our Water Terrace ceremony area is outdoors but fully covered, making it a perfect option for weddings all year round—rain or shine!

Our Elegance and Luxury package has been updated to include our updated Leave in Luxury service!

Due to the incredible interest in our new transport package, we’ve now made it a permanent feature for couples booking with us.

This service includes morning transport for the bride, afternoon transport for the groom (and possibly some guests), and an exclusive three-hour Leave in Luxury service in the evening—an effortless and stylish way to end your celebrations.

A year before your wedding day, you might be wondering what your next steps are:

If you haven’t yet booked your dining experience, now is a great time to do so. You can arrange this easily through your online Sonas portal!

If you’ve already had your dining experience and are ready to finalise your menu, we recommend booking a meeting with our head chef. We’re in the process of creating a booking link to make this even easier, but for now, just send the wedding team an email to schedule your appointment.

If you still need to book suppliers, now is a good time to start. Key suppliers such as photographers, florists, and entertainment can get booked up early, so securing them in advance ensures you have the best options. Our trusted supplier list is a great place to start, and the wedding team is always happy to offer recommendations🤍
