Roundoak is set in the heart of the Kentish countryside, south of the county town Maidstone, on the southerly slopes of the Greensand Ridge overlooking the beautiful weald of Kent. The grassland farm consists of approximately 120 acres including 5 acres of natural oak woodland. We have a sister farm at nearby Ulcombe with a further 80 acres. The farms conservation graze approximately 1500 acres th

roughout central Kent of many conservation groups such as KCC, Kent Wildlife trust, Medway Valley Countryside partnership to name but a few. The Roundoak flock is unusual in this part of the south east. It was the idea of Norman and Ruth Coles to purchase the flock which started with 16 ewes and Winkwell Falco the ram. Our first sheep were purchased on the Borders of Scotland and England from a hill farm near the Kielder Forest in Cumbria.Our first lambing season in spring 2005 produced 32 lambs from 16 ewes, two sets of triplets, mainly twins and a few singles. All mothers lambed themselves outdoors without outside intervention. We only lost two lambs that were stillborn.

Our Story

Roundoak Event Support welcomes you to our new page. We have created styles and unique wedding & party props, decorations, lights all available to hire at reasonable prices, which will bring extra atmosphere and glamour to your wedding or special celebration. Not only can we dress your wedding but we could host it too at a beautiful picturesque venue in the heart of Kent. Roundoak Events Support can make your event even more magical by complementing your theme and providing a memorable talking-point for your guests. The idea came together as we have been planning Louise's own wedding. It was then we realised how much we loved creating handmade props and signs and we have now got quite a collection. from handmade signs, festival themed games and a vintage sweet stand. We are based in Sutton Valence and have a beautiful woodland that is also available to hire and would make a magical wedding or party venue. For more information please contract us.
