You may or may not have heard that Malmesbury Acoustic Sessions is back! And we’re now under the very supportive umbrella of Malmesbury Live Arts. We’re so very grateful to their experienced team of volunteer events people for taking us under their wing.
But this new relationship is only going to work if we smash it, together. And this may come a slight surprise but our first gig this year is going to be delivered as part of the first Malmesbury Live Arts season by The Drystones!
Those of you who are Malmesbury Acoustic stalwarts who will have seen them back in the early days and may wonder how those 2 young lads from Priddy can totally smash it like they need to for us now. But they absolutely will - their new album really is mind blowing. It’s the kind of progression in music that will actually change things, if you ask me.
They are genuinely rewriting folk music. And we’re all over them. There is no doubt that this gig will be a significant moment in Malmesbury Acoustic history and their upcoming tour (which they’ve generously included us on) will definitely throw waves over over the folk genre.
If you’ve ever been to a Malmesbury Acoustic gig and liked it, you need to be at this one. There are important changes happening here. And we really hope you’ll continue to be a part of that progression with us. Tickets here: https://malmesbury-live-arts.org.uk/drystones
