Well this is it folks, the annual Elf photo, and my last post as The Cake Tin Malvern. Eeek.

I can't thank you all enough for following me on this crazy ride for the past few years. To everyone who has ordered a cake directly, eaten a slice at a wedding or party, taken cupcakes to school or work or a baby shower, or hen do, enjoyed a trip to Abbey Road Coffee and Commandery Coffee for amazing coffee and a yummy cake, and to every single person who has ever liked or shared a post, or recommended me to a friend, thank you, thank you, thank you. Tiny businesses like mine couldn't succeed without wonderful folk like you. I will truly miss you all.

Keep an eye on this page as it will probably morph into the next iteration of The Cake Tin... and if you know anyone in New Zealand, especially Wellington, tell them I'm coming their way!

Well folks, you kept me busy baking for much much longer than I originally planned, but on Saturday to final cakes left The Cake Tin kitchen.

For all those eagerly awaiting recipes, I promise they're coming. I've been so busy in the kitchen, I haven't had time to write them all up. I've decided instead to do it in January... Hopefully sitting in the sunshine with a glass of something refreshingly crisp and fruity by the keyboard!! Keep an eye on here and I'll let you know when things are ready to purchase.

I'll pop back on with the annual elf photo at some point this week, but for now I'll leave you with these delicious Seasons greetings and wish you all lots of festive cheer 🎄

Woodland critters galore. I'm in love with everything about this cake. Plus everything is completely edible, and handmade in The Cake Tin kitchen 🍂🦔🍂

Last year this birthday girl chose a bee theme, so I couldn't resist adding a few bees into the design too.

Beth chose a vanilla cake filled with strawberry jam. An absolute classic.

I've been asked a lot over the past few weeks if I'll share my recipes and cakey secrets when I leave.

After lots of thought about whether, and how, I could do it, I've decided to create a selection of recipe 'cards'. You'll be able to buy as many as you want once I hang up my apron, and enjoy making The Cake Tin faves forever. What a way to keep the cakey love alive.

So far I'll be doing carrot cake, chocolate cake, lemon and poppy seed cake, and Biscoff cake.

This pair of super bright cakes was a surprise for a pair of super crazy lasses today. I just love them x I hope you've both had a fantastic evening.

I've been obsessing about this cake for literally months. When E&M asked me to make them a succulents cake, I had never piped a flower in my life! But practice makes perfect! The hours of piping and fretting and piping and fretting and piping some more have finally paid off. Ta da 💛🌵💛

I absolutely adore this cake and I'm so grateful they trusted me with this special creation.

Having chosen some funky flavours for the main cake: Biscoff caramel, lime & coconut, and ginger Parkin, the smaller guests got their own chocolate cupcakes, and there were also dairy and egg free Biscoff cupcakes for their vegan guests too 🙂 No-one misses out on cake x

It only remains to say a HUGE thank you to for the invaluable lesson to get me started x This lady is an absolute master of the art. I tread very lightly in her footsteps!

Folks often ask about my favourite cake. It's a toughy as it changes all the time, but here's my birthday cake, so I guess right now it's this 🤎

Hazelnut latte cake. Coffee sponge filled with coffee icing and toasted crushed hazelnuts, topped with JimJams choc hazelnut spread drips and hazelnut choc chunks. It's as nutty as me. Hee hee.

I even made the teeniest tiniest choc and hazelnut non coffee version so my gorgeous Godson could enjoy it too.

Sprinkles on a wedding cake? It's a resounding YES from me ⭐

R&N celebrated with their with their friends and family at the beautiful Plough and Harrow in Guarlford last Sat. Such a lovely intimate set up for the cutest cake around. I love that it's both totally traditional, yet a wee bit different at the same time.

This pair choose a stellar flavour combination too. Vanilla and raspberry, topped with carrot and pistachio nut, topped with a mini cookies and cream cake. Definitely something for everyone to enjoy.

Back at Eastnor Castle today for A&R's wedding. This was a super opulent affair in a super opulent venue. There were over 150 guests, more flowers then you could shake a pair of secateurs at, and an array of the most glorious saris I could imagine.

Under this traditional decoration they'll find three tiers of egg-free cookies and cream cake. When you know what you like :)

The cake was also unexpectedly in the middle of the room, so I had a bit of a scramble to decorate the 'back' too. Hopefully you can't tell which is which!!

L&J got married today at the gorgeous St Bartholomew's church before heading just up the driveway to the even more gorgeous . What an exquisite venue. I even got to glimpse the happy couple ❤️

This pair chose an almond and cherry Bakewell cake, topped with a cinnamon Chai cake. Something a wee bit different, and also entirely vegan 🙂 To compliment the Bakewell cake, they also have an Amaretto cherry compote for drizzling. The pressed flowers and gold leaf are all edible, just topped with a few fresh fowers to match L's bouquet.

And what a setting for a cake. I love it.

Choc-dipped cherries top a mini chocolate cake, filled with morello cherry jam and vanilla icing, finished with choc cookie crumble. What's not to love??

I think this might be my first ever Christening cake. And it was a triple Christening too 💜💜💜

A lemon and elderflower cake topped with a vanilla and raspberry cake, with edible bunting, finished with cute baby elephants from the Sugarcraftfactory. Just too cute 🎈

Look away now if you have a peanut allergy!! 😯 This Snickers cake is a peanut overload. Yum yum yum. Four layers of chocolate cake filled with peanut butter icing, with peanut butter drips, crushed toasted peanuts and big old hunks of Snickers. There was almost a slice missing from the back before delivery. Hee hee.

Weddings come in all shapes and sizes, and so do wedding cakes. This cutey made its way to a beautiful intimate wedding at last week. And how lucious is that garden as a backdrop?

Real flowers to match the bride's bouquet, also complimenting the vanilla and lavender cake inside. I know lavender is a 'love it' or 'hate it' ingredient. I'm definitely in 'the love' it camp.

K&A tied the knot yesterday at Lower House Farm in Herefordshire... just. This incredible venue is in the middle of nowhere, then round the corner and over the next hill to Wales! I'm rubbish and didn't take any photos, so you'll just have to see the cake instead. Hee hee.

They chose a red velvet cake topped with a lemon and elderflower cake, dressed simply with glorious edible flowers. Their one gf guest had their very own box of vanilla macaron to enjoy. A pretty good alternative!

The sun was shining as I left this glorious venue and there were smiles and hugs everywhere. It was one of those moments when I remember this is my job. I'm a lucky bunny 😊

Gold drip wedding cake. WINNER. How luscious is this??!

K&T got hitched last weekend at Puckrup Hall. No amount of rain could dampen the joy these two were exuding. Even when I almost accidentally photobombed their confetti shots in my Cake-mobile, everyone was still smiling 😆

This fully gluten free cake features vanilla & raspberry cake, chocolate orange cake (which I swear I can still smell 🤤) and lemon cake. An absolute classic from start to finish.

Something a wee bit different, which I love. L&N chose a gorgeous textured look, along with peach tones for their special cake, to match the glorious flowers all around The Swan at Newland. This beauty features five layers of double chocolate cake, topped with a wee three layer vanilla and raspberry cake. The best of both worlds. The sun even made an appearance. What a bonus ☀️

L&L tied the knot today at the glorious . Even in the rain, this place is magical.

This pair have lots of friends and family with food allergies, so they went for a fully vegan and gluten free cake. Red velvet sponge is peaking through the icing on the top tier, then a vanilla and raspberry tier, and a cookies and cream tier have matching pink detail. Finished off with incredible locally grown, organic blooms from The Natural Flowersmith and unbelievably cute peg dolls from peggylous. What a sweetie.

Zachary and his friends will be tucking into this later today. Inside they'll find a big old chocolate mud cake, plus a summery raspberry and vanilla cake.

There's a first time for everything!

DONKEY themed cake!

This wee chap is channeling Donkey from Shrek and Eeyore in equal measures. I absolutely love him. Amazing work again by Amy Rose .

Four layers of lemon sponge brushed with elderflower syrup, and stuffed full of the zestiest lemon curd and lemon butter icing. Topped with lemon flavoured piped grass and cute edible flowers, it tastes even better than it looks.

This cake makes me smile so much 😄😄😄
