Wanna be our BFF?

Very excited to announce that we’re launching our new subscription service! This has been a long time coming and thank you to those of you who have shown an interest.

The monthly bundles will be different each time and subscribers will be the first to try new bakes from our test kitchen including different types of bagels from around the world, other bakes like challah and babka, as well as some of our own inventions. Seasonal floral arrangements will range from classic bouquets to more experimental designs, and kits for growing or drying flowers at home.

All BFFs will get a free tote bag when signing up (minimum 3 months) as well as free delivery each month within the M60. There’ll also be exclusive discounts, priority booking for events and other added extras.

The first deliveries will be on Friday 15 April (Good Friday) and will be an Easter / Spring themed bundle which will include sourdough bagels, seasonal schmears, spring blooms and our new seriously good HOT CROSS BAGELS.

Following deliveries will be on the last Friday of the month unless specified. Flexible options available too.

One final spot has become available for our Portugal retreat with Thorlby Yoga!

The four night retreat is complete with twice-daily yoga and meditations, bread making and floral workshops, day trips and absolutely loads of delicious vegetarian food (seriously, just been planning the menu and I'm hungry)

A 40 min drive south of Lisbon, Villa Epicurea is located in a nature reserve, a 30 min walk from the beach, with beautifully decorated rooms and communal spaces, as well as a yoga dome and infinity pool!

How to pre-order our bundles, bagels and bouquets 🥯💐

If you're looking for a gift or planning a special brunch treat, we've got a range of products and bundles that can be pre-ordered for collection from .

The counter is open 10-2 but pre-orders can be collected at Ducie Street anytime from 10am to when they close.

Our Bread Flower bundles include six sourdough bagels, a choice of schmears (regular or vegan) and either smoked salmon or our house-made carrot lox. Plus, a bunch of beautiful seasonal flowers in a jar. Our vegan bundle pictured is here 👆

Bundles, as well as individual bagels and bouquets, can all be pre-ordered up to a week in advance.

Last minute gift ideas from £10 🎁

HAMPERS
We've got Christmas Eve collections for our breakfast hampers which include bagels, schmears, salmon, sparkling wine, coffee, juice and a festive table centrepiece. There's a larger one too which also includes our sticky buns and bigger portions of bagels and sides.

WORKSHOPS
We've got two workshops lined up for January. One where you'll learn how to make a bouquet and the other where you'll learn how to make bagels and babka. There are two dates for each in January or you can select a voucher option so whoever you're giving it to can choose their date.

GIFT VOUCHERS
Starting from £15, our gift vouchers can be redeemed against any of our products including bagels, flowers and bundles from our online shop, our baking and floristry workshops or future events.

COFFEE
We've got bags of the delicious Festive Brew from Blossom Coffee Roasters which we serve in the cafe. It's £10 per bag and has been beautifully illustrated.

FLOWERS
Seasonal bouquets and table centrepieces are available to preorder for collection/delivery. Pick your colour scheme and size and Scarlett will create a bespoke bunch for your loved one. You can also pop into the cafe over the weekend and choose your bouquet by the stem.

The event is on from 10am-4pm and we'll keep the cafe open a bit later for drinks. This is the first of two market. More traders will be there on Saturday 11th December.

Excited to be partnering with Heard Storytelling for an afternoon of storytelling on Sunday 12th December.

If you haven't heard of Heard before, they host live storytelling evenings which sit somewhere between stand up and group therapy. Anyone can come and tell a story or you can also come along and just listen.

The theme for this event is MAGIC. Stories should be true and around 5 minutes long.

We'll be opening the cafe late that night and will be serving mulled drinks, wines, beers, snacks and baked goods.

Sunday 12 December, 3-5pm at the Kampus Bungalow.

We're opening a cafe!!!!!!!

For four weeks, we are taking over the Kampus Bungalow where we'll be running a cafe, florist and bagel shop for all your flowery and floury needs, alongside a series of festive events!

You’ll be able to swing by the bakery to pick up a bag of bagels and schmears to enjoy at home, topped bagels and special dishes to eat in, as well as coffee from Blossom Coffee Roasters, sticky buns and other sweet treats.

Larger bouquets and festive floral arrangements like wreaths and table centrepieces are available to pre-order for collection from our website. A limited selection of smaller bunches including dried flowers will also be available to pop in and buy.

We’ve got a packed events calendar for December including our Indie Winter Markets with some brilliant traders, weekly floral workshops, yin yoga with festive food and drinks with Emma from Thorlby Yoga and more. There’s also some bagel and floral workshops that you can book now for January.

The Bread Flower cafe will be open from Friday 26 November up until Christmas, from 8am to 2pm on Thursday and Fridays and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

This is the first time we’ll be opening a proper cafe/florist/bagel shop and we’re really excited to be able to offer you our products on a more regular basis during the festive season.

FERMENTS & FLOWERS // Our next supper club at Manchester Union Lager! 🍻🌸🍂

We're excited to announce that our next supper club will take place in collaboration with Manchester Union Brewery. This time, the theme will be 'ferments and flowers' inspired by our love of sourdough and flowers with another favourite ferment - beer!

The full menu will be revealed closer to the time and will feature warming autumnal dishes celebrating pickled and preserved food and garnished with edible flowers. Think sourdough, cheeses, pickles and even dishes cooked in beer. Each course will be paired with a different Manchester Union beer.

Tickets cost £45 and include three courses, three paired beers and a welcome drink too. The event will take place on 21 October in the Manchester Union taproom.

We're at the Manchester Food and Drink Festival 2021 all weekend with our signature sourdough bagels.

We're also doing filled bagels with schmear and salmon. And there are challah loaves too!

Our next Jewish-inspired supper club will be a belated Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) celebration and will also take inspiration from the festival of Sukkot (the Harvest festival).

The three course menu will feature modern takes on traditional family recipes for this time of year and will be paired with a wine flight from Le Social Wine.

Throughout the evening, we'll share stories about the Jewish traditions around this important time of year, much of which centres around food. Guests will learn why we eat round foods on new year, and stuffed foods for Sukkot, why some families sleep outside for a week and lots more.

The supper club will take place on Wednesday 22 September in the Kampus Bungalow. Tickets cost £40 which includes three courses and a welcome drink.

Diners can also buy the wine flight on the night for £20pp and there will be more drinks to order by the glass/bottle on the night as well as non-alcoholic options.

Vegetarian and vegan options available. Just make a note of any dietary/allergy requirements when booking.

Join us this Sunday for a bagel brunch by the canal with Le Social Wine! 🥯🍷☀

Enjoy our artisan sourdough bagels topped with brisket, salmon or carrot lox, along with delicious wines, cocktails and other drinks from Le Social.
