Hi everyone. I wanna start off with a real deep gratitude for all the support and love TRANUARY has received over the last two years.

This message is to let you all know that we will not be returning in 2025.

Tranuary is a real labour of love for all who work to make it happen. For me personally it takes up half my year with funding applications and then the production work as well as scouting artists etc.

I've been operating at a loss the past two years and willingly, because creating the space is more important to me than making profit off the event. That was never the goal.

However I've just taken on a pretty loaded full time producer job 9-5 5/7 so I don't have capacity to invest my time or resources into running a Tranuary in 2025 or be at risk of serious debt and serious burn out.

This isn't necessarily the end of the festival, I'm hoping to be able to bring it back in the future but it can't feasibly happen in 2025.

Thanks to all the creative community board members who have supported the event and to all the artists staff and audience members.

A true musical connosieux with an expansive a F musical palette, our TRANUARY 2024 headliner will be serving you a heady and heavy mix of genres and BPMs as our after party headliner.

KIM LANA

We can't wait to welcome the high queen of house to the tranuary stage this year.

A career spanning multiple dancefloors and with a deep history of community building, Kim is a pioneering trans woman DJ who's put in the WORK to make dancefloors inclusive for all. You may have heard her spin at deep gay, nan Moore's, homobloc, Adonis, iconoclast and more.

She'll be showing her trademark heady housey breaksy bits to open the after-party from 11:30pm.

Everyone remembers where they were when Shanika Middle-Name Sunrise dropped her triple platinum single "Directions" last summer. This Tranuary, Miss Sunrise is BACK to teach you all how to follow her Directions with a fun waacking workshop next Saturday at between 2pm-3:30pm.

Whilst the workshop will be taught as a group piece and there will be no pressure to perform individually, there will also be an opportunity for you to showcase your flair and personality as part of the Evening Extravaganza show later on where Shanika will also be performing her hits for us to kick-start the party! TRANUARY 2024 HOST ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to circumstances, lill isnt hosting Tranuary this year, and so has opened the door for a wonderful HILLARIOUS first time tranuary hostess to join hosting our Bread and Poses Cabaret

Returning for her first gig in Manchester in over a year, and in anticipation of her first one woman work-in-progress show at Feel Good Club on April 20th, our new host looks forward to preaching about how G-A-Y used to be Spirit, Napoleons used to be for the transsexuals, and men used to be men after she’s had a drink.
