An ideal gift does exist! Consider gifting pre-made P**n Star Martini and other cocktails in a set, which may include a martini glass and/or a mini Prosecco bottle. Send a DM for various prices.

1. Add one serving to a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Optional: Add a squeeze of half a lime to the mixture.
3. Shake until frothy & pour.
4. Optional: Garnish with half a passion fruit floating.
5. Serve alongside a shot of Champagne or Prosecco.

My latest food adventure is in Georgia 🇬🇪

Khachapuri is one of the most popular and traditional Georgian dishes. It’s puffy hot bread with cheese melted in the middle and topped with hunks of butter and a cracked egg. As soon as it’s served, you have to swirl the ingredients together with your fork until the egg and butter are completely blended with the mass of cheese. Then tear a piece of the bread and dunk in!

It’s butterly-delicious 😋

This is the Costa Rican 🇨🇷 national dish, Casado, eaten at lunch, which is their main meal.

It is not a singular dish, but a dish made up of many foods. In fact, it could be thought that a casado is a marriage of the foods that are served together, since marriage is the meaning of the word casado.

If you order a casado at a restaurant in Costa Rica, you can expect to be served a plate that contains the following: rice, beans, salad, tortillas, fried platano maduro, and meat (beef, pork, chicken or fish).

🌍 GLOBE WAS ABOUT THE PEOPLE 🌍

On Friday, the sale was completed for the restaurant. I wanted to thank all the staff over the five years who made Globe what it was.

I’m now going to have some time off & work on my next business ideas, concentrating on catering for Christmas (yep I said the C word) parties for private & office. Please watch this space for more info.

Hello Globe fans,

I hope you’re having a good week?

There’s been some delay on the sale of the lease so the good news for you guys is we’re here for a little longer. Its a mother & daughter only crew so we’re reduced the food & drinks menu. No individual cocktails just cocktail pitchers. Draught beer wise, we still have some Big Wave left over in the keg if interested in drinking or for takeaway.

We’ve made our last batch of Bombay potatoe croquettes today for anyone wanting a final taste.

We’re open 6-10pm Thursday, Friday & Saturday. If you would like to book we are taking bookings via email only at [email protected]
