Absolutley chuffed to be given a chance to play for YANA tomorrow
Saturday sees another new show and concept to the YANA Electronica channel. We are excited to launch out 'Introducing' series where we invite artists a long who haven't had the opportunity to have regular radio shows but we feel that their sound and talent deserves to be heard so on our first Introducing show, we'd like to introduce you JO and Clintyfitz
JO, from the North west is 20 years old but by his own admission has an old head on young shoulders. He loves breaks, electronica and progressive house. He's often at some of the best events in the northwest and its great to see tou younger ones really getting what the scent is all about. JO likes to play different genres and take listeners on a journey. One of his favourite labels is Selador and he loves their style of sound and the mixes they put out. He is on Mixloud and soundcloud and we cant wait to hear what he's put together fffor us
Clintyfitz is also from the North west and again attend alot of the great events in the area. A little about him in his own words
'ClintyFitz is all about Progressive House, Melodic and Organic house.
Styling himself as a journeyman DJ with sets that tell a story and build in intensity, starting with uplifting organic and melodic house grooves and progressively moving toward heavier, tech-infused progressive beats.
Drawing on influence from musical heros like Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Sasha and Digweed and many more, and favorite labels like All day I dream, The Soundgarden, Sudbeat, Mango Alley, Meanwhile and UV to name a few, Clintyfitz is as comfortable playing a warmup mix to set the tone for the night ahead as he is playing a full on peak time set or a 5 hour marathon, but whatever the scenario, he always wants to bring the energy!
